Very odd fit at bust
I love the fabric, the zippered pocket, and the length. However, the fit is very odd at the bust. I usually wear a small, and I have a small bust, but I sized up to a medium due to customer reviews. The bust area was snug. Not tight, but I prefer a body skimming fit versus a snug fit. Even with a snug fit there was a *large* flap of fabric at each underarm. I did not think I could do a suitable alteration myself. I would not just tack-stitch down the excess fabric as it would be bulky under each arm. Fit was fine for waist and hips.
Fit great - excellent for hot humid days
I bought several of these dresses at the same time. Have previously purchased Toad summer dresses and love them. These fit great, are well made, and are light enough to breathe well in hot, humid weather.
Material hit and miss
Got 2 prints. The lighter color is see through on my dark skin. The darker color fit well but not flattering for my skin color
Sleeveless dress
This was my first dress purchase from REI. I'm telling you, don't be afraid to buy something in the off-season! This dress is perfect, and while I can't wear it now, I sure will come next spring. The craftsmanship is superb, the seams are double -stitched-real quality that I wasn't expecting. Just another outstanding purchase from REI! Thank you!

The fit of this dress wasn't right for me. It fit like a petite--too short in the top even as the length was fine. I returned it.
