Royal Robbins  Spotless Traveler Dress - Women's

love this style and it fits great, light and airy for warmer days. The only thing I am worried about is it is made of polyester. Polyester retains body odor after one wear so calling this a traveler dress does not sound quite right as you cannot re-ware this for more than a day with out washing it. Not ideal for a minimalist packer who wants to be able to wear something more than once on the road without stinking or having to wash it. Please consider other fabrics for this design such as bamboo, hemp, and cotton blends. I noticed the other travel dress is organic cotton....

The pictures here don't do this dress justice. I picked one up at a store in Europe after waffling on if I should order it all summer. This dress was a lifesaver in Paris with above normal temperatures in early September. I washed it nightly and wore it again the next day. I will say that I'm a classic hourglass and according to the guide I should have been a large, but I purchased a medium and it fits beautifully, and is very flattering but sits closer to my body than the images. My mom who is more apple shaped looked beautiful in this dress as well.

I thought this dress would be good for travel, church, etc. According to the size chart I am right in the XL size range - 42, 35, 45 inch measurements, 180 lbs, 5'10." However, I am pear shaped and since the skirt is not fitted I ordered both the L and XL. Large fit great, didn't even take the XL out of package. Unfortunately the dress did not flatter me in the least. The ties on the side seemed to emphasize and round out my stomach, with ties loose it was shapeless. The dress obviously looks great on some body types, just not mine. Too bad, the fabric and features are so nice, although the blue/grey/beige print was kind of dull on me also. The dress reminded me of the "house coats" my grandmother wore in the 50's, and not in a good way.

I’m a minimalist packer and I’ve brought this dress to Fiji, Australia, all over Southeast Asia, India, Dubai and Europe. I usually only back two tops, two bottoms and this dress. I love that it’s modest enough to visit churches or temples and for traditional village visits. You can dress up or down and use as a swimsuit cover up. I don’t have a problem with it getting stinky and am able to wear it multiple times between washes. It is a dress so I’m not hiking or working out in it, just normal site seeing so I’m not sweating excessively in it, even in Southeast Asia because it’s really breathable. Normally I can get pretty stinky in my workout gear or hiking clothes so opt for merino but had no issues with this dress being an untreated polyester.

I tried this in at a store in Hayward, Wi and fell in love with the fabric, cut, and versatility of this dress. I tried on a large and an XL and they both looked nice but I would have chosen the Large as I am on a weight loss journey and I could imagine the Large being wearable anywhere from 185-165 I’m 5’3”. I would agree with other reviewers that the pictures don’t do it justice to show how lovely it is and sizing is a bit generous, I was surprised how nice the large looked, I normally fall more into the XL sizing lately.

I received this dress in navy XS from my daughter as a gift. When I first put it on I felt the silky smooth material smooth perfectly over my head down my body pass my knees to a perfect length not to long or short at 5’2. I love the color most, feel, the sleeves are a snap up or let them down to just above the elbow with a loose straight sleeve that is very flattering. It is an easy summer dress to wear for jumping into any adventure.

This dress is amazing… the fit is so flattering and the ties at the waist allow you to perfect the look you want. The pockets are a bonus (thank you for a zip pocket!). Material is light but not cheap. Love the snaps in the front rather than buttons (snaps on the sleeves would be better as well). I wish it came in more patterns/colors. My new travel dress!

I couldn't agree more with the positive reviews above. Everything about this dress is great: it's elegant (I got several compliments), very comfortable to wear, easy to wash & quick to dry, wrinkle-free AND it has a UV filter & a zip pocket. After I had bought it in black last year, I got a 2nd one in "Everglade" this year. For me, it was true to size (S).

I bought this at a store in Idaho. It is perfect for all things summer. It looks great with a sandal and a tennie. I really like the adjustments in the sleeves and waist to tailor your my fit. I also like the longer length so it can be worn to work - I’m a teacher. It travels so well. I can’t wait to layer for the fall. Definitely a staple in my closet.

I'm 5'5" and 140lbs with an athletic build. I'm a solid medium in most brands. I ordered a small and medium, and the medium fit perfectly. This dress is absolutely beautiful. I'm a teacher, so I appreciate the full coverage and longer length. It's flowy and delicate, but also sturdy. This dress is so pretty.
