Best jacket to keep warm in 30F or less
My dog is a 33lb short hair mix and she was shivering wearing Fernie dog jacket in mid-20s. Love Fernie jacket but it was not warm enough for her. The Powder hound dog jacket fit her perfectly for 20F weather and she was happy with the jacket on to explore. When we took her to Vail, Colorado, the weather is in 7-20F range. I layered her with the Fernie dog jacket and then powder hound. They are both S size and was able to wear over in layers just fine. This combination did a great job keeping her active and warm in snow blizzard and running throw deep snow. Washing both jackets a few times (delicate cycle, cold water in washing bags and hang dry) and they look new afterwards. Highly recommend if your dog gets cold easily. I even got another jacket for spare as they run out of stock sometimes.
Good coverage
I really needed a Large, but they were out of stock in this color, so I ordered the XL and it's a little big for my Golden Retriever, Moose. He is just a little over a year old so he may yet grow into it, but he looks pretty cute in this color anyway!
