Best Athletic Shoe I've EVER Worn

The Rincon 3's are amazing. I don't know why everyone is giving them so much hate for the thin/short tongues. These tongues are great, I can't even feel them when I'm walking or running. In the past, I've had tennis shoes that have thick tongues that rub my ankle and can give me blisters, not with the Rincon 3's! I can't say enough great things about these shoes. They give you a spring to your step and my foot, knees, and ankles all feel supported. The shoes are light and airy which makes them a joy to wear working out or just getting from point A to point B! It's like walking on water or a cloud. I love love love the colors too!

Wife loves the new color!

Wife had Rincon 2 and bought the Rincon 3 as a replacement. Shoes look totally different...the new version has a lighter weight tongue (doesn't really look like it will hold up), and the back pull tab is much smaller. You can tell the shoes weigh less than the older version.

Great shoe but precious color

Excellent fit and comfort. The only down side is the light color. I cannot wear them in rain(puddles), gardening (dirt). They not washable but carefully wipeable. My darker color of rincon 2 are the same fit and have eased my knee pain. I have an unprepared ACL and at 66, I still put 7 miles on these shoes daily between treadmill and other activities. My previous favorite running shoes did not give me the stability on rocky terrain to keep my knee aligned as well as my Hokas do. It will be awhile before I workout, work or travel in other shoes. And they are so light!

The best!!

I run 40-60 miles per week on average and I love these shoes. I have used all iterations of the Rincon and these do not disappoint (although the tongue is a little weird, but doesn't cause problems for me). They are light, fast, responsive, AND also cushioned. If these ever change I will be devastated! I have raced a marathon in these and would do long runs in them as well, but also have no problem using them for speedwork. They are just that good! For reference, I am 110 lbs and a midfoot striker. My regular running shoe size is 7-7.5 and I wear a 7 in these (no change from previous models).

order thru REI not the main site

I had these on back order they Hoka since 7/15 - when I saw they were in stock at REI I canceled them w Hoka and got them thru here ! I’ve been buying directly thru mfg for over a year but realized REI has a better warranty ( ex my pair from 4 months ago hurts my arches I can’t return bc I got thru Hoka ( if I’d bought thru REI I had a year !) My son had to point this out to me b I honestly rarely return anything I’ve worn ! These are super lightweight ! I love the colors and had. The previous rincons , liked them , I wear these , Arahi , Bondi and Clifton. . Love my Hokas !

Great fit and color

These are great, super comfortable and they fit perfectly. I normally wear a size 9 in Nike but in this style of Hoka I'm an 8. So my feet look smaller too! Hope to buy again.

Best Athletic Shoes I've EVER Owned

These shoes put a lot of spring in my step. They are comfortable to wear when you're working out or just getting from point A to B throughout your day. I saw a lot of negative reviews regarding the tongue of this shoe but I honestly can't even feel the tongue, a lot of shoes have really thick tongues that will rub my foot when I walk/run and even have given me a blister in the past. Not the HOKA ONE ONE Rincon 3. These shoes are the closest thing to running on water or clouds. Easy on the knees and ankles too!

Toe box not roomy enough, even on Wide

I want to love these shoes, they feel amazing at first, but on long runs (6+ miles) all the flaws show through in blisters on my feet. I have mild bunions forming, the one on my left foot is worse. I ordered Wide after doing short runs in other Hokas for a while, but they still rub along the side of my foot right where the sole ends. If you look from the top, the shoes are almost perfectly straight. So unless your wide feet are still straight from heel to toe, these may not work for you. I wish Hoka would change the shape to a more natural foot shape. FWIW, I've had no problem with the tongue or lacing system, and the weight of the shoes and feeling of the cushion is excellent.

Wonderful walking/nursing shoes

I have a pair of the Rincon 2's. Compared to those, I'd say these are slightly less cushioned and about 1/2 a size smaller. I have a size 6 in the 2's and I had to size up to a 6.5 in these. Hokas in general run a little big. I am usually a size 7 in hiking boots and running shoes. As usual, the toe box is a good size. I think these are on par for average width, not too wide, not too narrow. That being said, I think they are too cushioned to run in (for me). This is because one's foot has to compensate for all of the movement from the bouncy cushioning. I work in healthcare, and I walk 3-5 miles on each of my 12+ hour shifts, and I stand all day long. My feet do not hurt and never become fatigued. No blisters ever. The pink color is super bright and happy. So happy with these!
