On Women’s Cloudflow: I got a size 9, and I initially didn’t like how the shoe felt after the first use. It felt like my foot was sliding around a bit, but the 8.5 was too small when I tried it on in the store. After a couple of uses it became my favorite pair (worn for a year now). I mostly use them for walking or as an everyday use shoe. I suffered from arch pain and planter fasciitis, and I had been wearing Hoka shoes. Initially, I was worried these wouldn’t be as cushy as the Hokas and I would feel more pain, but I think the smaller base has helped my feet. If I switch back to my Hokas I start getting arch pain again.
I ordered a 9 (my usual size) and they seemed a bit too big. But what I couldn’t get passed was that the left shoe felt flat, and the right felt like it had a higher arch but not in the right spot. Returned them and decided to try an 8.5. Seemed ok, till I started walking. They fit better length wise, but tight everywhere else. And the right shoe still had more of a raised arch like the first pair. Had to cut my walk short as my feet were tingling everywhere. Wanted to love these. But just can’t get past the sizing issues and that weird arch in just one of the shoes. They are going back.
I am a long-time supporter of the Brooks Cascadia line, and didn't think I'd ever find a supportive shoe that was more comfortable. Well, I can honestly say that the On Cloudflow is definitely more comfortable out of the box. I'll be interested to see how these break in, but I'm super impressed so far!! I'm ordering their trail shoes too to compare, and will post a review on those as well. Highly recommend for running and walking!
I've worn this shoe for the past 3 years- I was so happy that the fit didn't change with the redesign. They are THE most comfortable shoe I own. I have arthritis in both my feet from broken bones and it has always been hard to find that right balance of firm support and cushy comfort, and these hit the mark. I wear them to work out in, hike, walk, and work in. I'm on my feet all day, every day, and until I bought these I didn't realize how much of my hip and knee pain was from the wrong shoes (I'm 29 but have had a lot of sports injuries). My only complaint is that they wear out relatively quickly. Granted I wear them every day, but I do have 3 pairs I rotate through so I'm not wearing the same pair day after day. That said, I still have to buy a new pair every 4 months and the cost really adds up. I still give them 5 stars with 0 hesitation, though- they really are the best! ** I also have the CloudRunner, and those are a bit more durable and supportive, but these are still my faves! Those are a close second. If you can't wear Hokas because they're too squishy, but are looking for something super comfy, give these a shot. You won't regret it.
I dont see what the hype is with these shoes. As an everyday runner and power walker with owns 6 different pairs of sneakers, these are by far the most uncomfortable.
My favorite running shoes were discontinued so I had to branch out from the shoes I’ve worn for years. A friend recommended I try these. Just fit perfect right out of the box! They are a lot lighter than I would have guessed for the amount of cushion they have. They are great for road running and provide enough cushion to not make my knees hurt when I’m on concrete. Overall, I’m very impressed
I have had these shoes for just under a year, and while I have logged quite a few miles walking in these, they have broken down much more quickly that I would have liked/expected. The rear foot cushioning on each foot seemed to collapse pretty quickly (within 6 months), but the shoes were still comfortable enough that I continued to use them. To be fair, I got these on sale due to phasing out of the color, but compared to a less expensive pair of Nike Pegasus shoes that I have done both walking and running in, these On shoes have disappointed.
These shoes are so comfortable and they have really helped my runs but they have already started fraying and they are only 2 weeks old. I only road run 5k’s and have only gone maybe 8 times. I know running shoes wear out but it feels like on wear faster then others.
Shoes seemed very stiff and seemed to run long. Heal slipped and toes were squeezed even though I ordered the widest. Returning them.
I bought black which look great! The tongue is a bit uncomfortable where they’re tied, so I’ll need to return them. I like shoes very tight to keep my slender heel from slipping. There wasn’t enough cushion on the tongue for me.
