I have been running for about 35 years, I am in my 50's, 5'04" and 135 lbs. I used to be an Altra girl until several injuries forced me into a shoe with more support. I am now a Brooks girl, but needed a pair of waterproof shoes so I decided to branch out. I found these on REI and decided to give them a shot. The base is more rigid than my Brooks, but that could be because they are brand new and/or waterproof. The cushioning and arch support are fantastic. They fit very comfortably and are true to size (I am a 7 1/2 normally and was for these as well). I ran 2.5 on a fairly flat limestone trail in the rain for the first time in them. No issues whatsoever. My feet stayed perfectly dry. No blisters, aches, or pains. They look nice too! I definitely recommend!

Too steamy

The pros: great cushion, great traction, great stability, and water beads off the surface. The cons: soooooo steamy! I tested these around the house for 5 minutes and my feet felt so warm. So these are a no-go for me :(

Didn’t work for me
I have a pair of non-waterproof cloud runners (1st model) and they fit me well. I wanted to get another for wet weather, and these ones are a bit too high under my ankle. Just standing in my living room, I noticed the issue. Sadly, these will be going back and I’ll have to find another model which is lower cut.

This is my second pair of Cloudrunners. My first pair is a light color with a white sole. I needed something that would withstand the wet weather that has arrived in the PNW. I have put them to the test and am very pleased.

Great shoes. I have several On shoes, but needed a ew waterproof pair. Was out in strong rain just yesterday and feet stayed dry. They are a bit stiff I first wear, but they loosen up quickly.
