Overpriced. Does not stay assembled
It is a nice looking basket and I really like the way that it fastens onto the rack. The directions, however, are terrible and the handle is very flimsy and cheaply made. I didn't have a problem adjusting the rack But I struggled to get the handle attached. I finally thought I had succeeded. Then I took it out for the first time… I was in the grocery store and the handle came undone. I have tried to reattach the handle, but it won't stay put. I've reached out to the manufacturer, but overall I kind of find the handle a bit cheap for the price tag. Would not recommend.
Perfect for groceries
I just took this on a farmer's market run, and it was perfect. The tomatoes and strawberries that I got were extremely ripe and delicate, and there's no way that it could have gone into a traditional pannier without getting squashed. I also like how it attaches to the top of the back rack, it's very secure!
Well made basket!
Great size and quality! The loops to secure the lid are very tight and kind of hard to get both sides in place at once, but I imagine it will stretch out over time and it stays closed without the extra loops. It’s waterproof and fit nicely on my rack. Detaches easily.
Does not fit as it should.
This basket is rated for rack widths from 80mm to 160mm. However, there is no way that it can fit on anything wider than about 140mm. I have a wider rack (160mm) and this is basically useless.
