Perfect size for salads and big meals
I carry this car camping, backpacking, surf camping. I've owned 4 bowls. Pros: -It fits a tossed salad very easily. There are very few ways to get veggies on the trail. This makes it so easy. Packaged salads are fairly affordable at resupply points. -No other backpacking bowl I know fits a 2000 calorie meal of dried rice and beans Cons: -it is not the most durable. It deforms plastically (I.e. once bent incorrectly it is broken). There is a reason it is based on origami; It's somewhat complicated, easy to break, and beautiful in its simplicity.
Waste of money…
Used 2x, thought it was great. Third time two sides won’t snap. Useless beyond as an odd cutting board. Why does REI bother with these?
Not as good as the Orikaso folding bowls
It's an ok bowl but the snaps are not dependable. It's almost too big and the flat size doesn't fit well into my backpack. I wish someone would make the Orikaso folding table ware. I still have an old mug and it still works, no snaps needed. Also when food gets into the snaps, yuck. Without other choices I'd recommend it.
Cutting board and bowl in one!
We used this for the first time on our last camping trip. It stores nicely and is very light. I used it as a cutting board for salad and then snapped it altogether and viola! Salad bowl. Very handy - love it. Used it for pasta as well.

Love the spaciousness of the footprint, however it was difficult to depend on it being a flat surface,

Didn't use it on the trip yet, just at home. I hope it will last long. Not sure.

A large bowl for your camp kitchen
I've been using smaller sized Fozzils for many years and was delighted to find that they are making a big one now. This flat plastic square folds into a big useful salad bowl. It's the perfect thing for your camp kitchen since a bowl this size would normally be bulky and inconvenient to pack.
Great for keeping in Car!
Good experience using it during climbing and car camping trip. It’s about the size of a gallon of milk. Useful to hold items while cooking in small spaces.
Dishwashing bowl
This is great as a portable dishwashing bowl. Doing dishes in this works pretty well and then packs away.
