Plastic heavily peeling on inside cap of bottle
Plastic heavily peeling on inside of top I picked this water bottle because it boasted being free of numerous chemicals in plastic like BPA, BPS and BPF. Who wants to ingest harmful plastics in their water right? So, it was completely disappointing that there was peeling plastic coming off from the inside of the black cap. There was so much that at first I thought I had overlooked a cleaRead more about review stating Plastic heavily peeling on inside of topr plastic seal for removal but when I went to peel it off, I realized it was just layers of the inner lid sloughing off. So much for avoiding eating plastic with my water. This was about my third time using the water bottle.
Works as advertised.
Overall a great water bottle. Durable and solid performer. It was dropped a handful of times on walks, hikes, and at the park, but other than a few scratches, it came away unscathed. I would likely choose a color other than clear next time, as scratches are very visible on the clear. I would also like it to have markings showing the fluid amount. Using other brands of water bottles for running, I do slightly prefer the other brands’ rounded bit valve (on the left) to the CamelBak’s slightly oval bite valve (on the right). Overall, a solid performer from CamelBak.
I'm Hydrated!
I recently purchased my 3rd CamelBak water bottle; I think it's my 3rd, could be my 4th. I love CamelBak's high quality products and "safe" plastics. I'd once read about some not-so-great plastic water bottles and was happy to discover CamelBak cares about using the right types of plastic in their water bottles. The bite straws are great too. I drink a lot of water (about 3 full bottles a day!) and I love having my CamelBak bottle filled and ready to grab on my way out the door. The way the handle is built into the cap also makes for easy refilling. I highly recommend this hefty bottle if you like having the right amount of water with you at all times. Stay hydrated!
Awesome water bottle!

I like the durability of this water bottle ,I feel that it’s well made. I also like the bite valve, you can control the liquid intake by how much pressure you apply. Also it’s leak proof an spill proof ! I like to take walks in the evening, an with this water bottle You don’t have to tilt your head back . So I can actually drink water while I’m walking. Also like I’m doing my part in saving the planet, by useing a refillable water water! I would recommend this water bottle to everyone!
Perfect for kids' art!
This was the perfect palette for my kids' art and the interface made customizing the bottle easy. It was great to be able to do a one off for each kid at a very reasonable price. There wasn't much guidance on what type of image might work best, so the lighter artwork came out better than the darker images.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a pleasant surprise this was. Great water bottle! First, mine came in a beautiful maroon shade, great color. It’s a nice sturdy bottle, does not feel flimsy or easy to break like some other bottles which can feel a little bit cheap. Nice and sturdy with an equally sturdy handle if you are on the go. No need to turn the bottle upside down, this was almost second nature to me but the straw works great on its own. The flow is also nice. Wonderful 1000ml bottle at a decent price point I think this is a steal! Would highly recommend to anyone in the market for a new water bottle!
Great All-purpose Bottle
The bottle has been able to withstand basically every activity I throw at it, and every drink I put in it. Very good for teenagers, young adults, and adults. I purchased a couple of these for my children, and gave some away to other folks who were interested in it. I gave away different colored bottles and different sized bottles. In each occasion, the recipient was happy to have received this bottle. The plastic construction is satisfactory, and the rubberized sipping tool at the top is decent. Although, I am almost sure that I will need to clean it once in a while.
Hydration fix
I have primarily been using this bottle to keep me hydrated throughout the day while I work from home. I prefer larger sizes of bottles so I don’t have to get up and refill as often, but I don’t like the wide-mouth Nalgenes that are usually that 1L size. I love that this bottle combines the large volume with a bite valve. The handle at the top makes it easy for carrying around or strapping to a pack. I throw all the components in the dishwasher when I need to clean it and don’t have to worry about hand-washing. Only thing that is sometimes a pain is it doesn’t fit in a standard sized cup holder, so if you’re planning to use this mostly in the car it might not be the right choice. Otherwise, I’ve been really happy with it.
Buying this bottle was the right choice
I absolutely love my new camelbak! I was slightly worried that the bottle would be too large and thus uncomfortable to carry around due to the volume but it is actually perfect and I cannot complain about it. Furthermore, I also cannot complain about any water shooting out of the straw after leaving the bottle for a while. The biting element is very comfortble in the mouth and easy to use as well as the handle which lies smoothly in the hand. In addition, the bottle is also easy to clean and keeps that way. Some people say that after a while of using the bottle a black yeast was building up in the biting part but that didn‘t happen with my bottle. Overall, I am more than satisfied and would always buy this bottle again.
Easy Access
This water bottle is easily accessible by using only one hand. The hook on the top of the bottle also hangs nicely on one finger or your backpack! At first the straw may seem funny and awkward but with consistent use it loosens up and doesn't feel unnatural. In fact, it has become a joy to use and my go to bottle! Can't wait to throw some stickers on it and show it off. It would make a great gift for friends of the outdoors!
