not a bite valve

I bought this for the straw and how the mouthpiece is covered and not exposed to dust, and viruses and whatever allergens. I was hesitant about it because it is supposed to be a bite valve but it isn’t, maybe I have a defective one? But it’s a good thing, it’s still taking me time to get used to the way the mouthpiece flips up. I predict the mouthpiece will need to be replaced often since it’s difficult to get inside of it clean. It’s leak proof. I don’t like the soft carry handle because it makes it difficult for me to open the lid since I’m used to the stiff handle on my other camelbak bottle

Checks all of the boxes!

I had four requirements for my next water bottle: * Plastic bottle - Sorry, but I get a metallic taste whenever I use a metal bottle * Washable components - I was frustrated with how I was unable to get the inside of the drinking channel completely clean * Leak-proof * Straw The Camelbak Thrive Flip Straw bottle checked all of the boxes at a great price, and it was available in the 25 oz size that I prefer. I've only had the bottle for a couple weeks, but I have been so pleased with my purchase that I bought one for my wife and a second one for me.

Great bottle. Read the instructions though.

I like this bottle. The straw is bigger than what I’m used to but I’m getting used to it. Have to sip like a straw. I gave it to my friend as a gift and they tried to use it as a “sippy cup”. Can’t do that. It leaks if you tip it upside down.

Great water bottle for hiking or travel

Love the design! The straw "locks down" to prevent leaks and the handle is easy to hold. Straw goes all the way to the bottom so there is no gap. Bought two because it is perfect for longer hikes.

Camel back straw water bottle

The water bottle is fine, but it’s too big to fit in any of my bottle holders - the one in my car, the side pockets of my backpacks, or the bottle holder I wear around my waist

Perfect gym bottle

Perfect gym bottle, it lets you drink without having to unscrew a cap. Fits well in the hand and can actually be cleaned inside, unlike many other bottles.

The straw can get gross over time and stuff gets stuck on the lid where the straw comes in and out. Straw also falls out all the time

On the Go Hydration

Nice to get a quick sip without unscrewing the cap. Handle doesn't stretch.
