Not durable

I have had one pair of NRS hydroskin pants for 20 years; they have gone with me on kayaking trips from Iceland to New Zealand, Norway to Chile and they have held up well. I like them not only for the added warmth but also because it helps protect your legs if you have to portage through the woods when there are no trails. I purchased a second pair a couple months ago and have used them just a few times on rivers and lakes in the Canadian Rockies over the past month. This past weekend getting out of my kayak on a river in Michigan I brushed up against a branch in the river and it put a hole just above the knee. I would give these pants a 1 on a scale of 1-10 for durability. They are not made nearly as well as the earlier version. I am really disappointed in the durability of the latest version especially since they have gone up in price significantly over the years. I will try to sew them up but this really should not have happened!

Nice paddling pants but sizes are off

These neoprene pants are pretty comfortable but the sizing is off. I wear a medium wetsuit across many brands. I ordered these in Large because something in the sizing chart was off. Turns out the Large is almost too small for me (5'10, 150 lbs) but I can squeeze them on. Note the leg ends are not stretchy and very tight but that is by design to reduce the flow of cold water into the legs.

Good pants for fall kayaking

These pants are comfortable kayaking pants for a cool day. They do run a little small, so if you are between sizes, get the bigger size.

Paddle pants the musical!

Very nice. Well fitting and warm as one of our rivers come from beneath a 360 foot dam and the water is always about 55.
