NRS  HydroSkin 0.5 Pants - Women's

I was really excited for these paddle pants. The do keep you warm on cool days, however if you sweat at all they lock in moisture so you have a damp feeling and the take a very long time to air dry. Also, the material snags on everything. After wearing them once, they have multiple areas of pilling and snags. I made the mistake of sitting on the dock, and when I stood up the rear and legs of the pants snagged and pilled. They get easily caught on surfaces. The pants are flexible and comfortable, so I will still wear them in my canoe, but I will be very careful not to brush up against anything.

is the point of divulging reviewers’ height, weight, and body shape if you don’t have them specify which size they purchased? Isn’t that totally obviously the missing piece of the puzzle here?

I bought these pants for a 3wk rafting trip in cold water and was really glad to have them on splashy days. They did their job as neoprene keeping me warm-while-wet, but there a couple things that could be improved: - The waistband could come up higher, especially in the back. There was always a cold spot on my lower back that wasn't quite covered by these pants or my splash top. - The material isn't very durable. It snagged easily on any kind of shoreline shrubs or sitting on rocks during a lunch break.

I wore these once in light conditions and the fabric snagged and pilled all down the left leg. I did nothing strenuous and have no idea how they got damaged so quickly. I bought these for the quality and it’s clear that the material is not durable or of the caliber I expected.

Kayaking the Apostle Islands in cold, cold Lake Superior was warm, warm. And it looked great!

I used these for surfing to keep the sun off me and they worked well in cooler water that was in the low-mid 70's. Loved the high waist and color. They were very comfortable.

They are very comfortable but run small. Buy at least one size up.

These are the first pair of HydroSkin pants I own. I was a little worried they would be uncomfortable but they are amazing!! Fits true to size.

These pants are grey, but there is a skin color sheen. In sunlight, my family says that it looks like my butt is showing through the pants. I am wearing black underwear, so I know it's the sheen and not really sheer.

Comfortable fabric, providing warmth for lap swimming outdoors. Nice weight that insulates but allows flexibility. Does make you more buoyant but that was ok with me. Need to hang dry after use.
