Picked up this bike at the local REI as an upgrade to my 25 year old beater. Now I can ride trails much faster and take roots and turns much more confidently. I am 6'3" with 32" inseam and I got the M frame, and it feels great. So maybe you could say the frame runs large, but you have to try the bike out yourself. Glad they had this one in stock, so I was able to try it out, the buy it on the spot. All components feel high quality and everything worked great out on the trail. Rode it hard and the brakes and shifting worked great. Tires are great. 29" wheels are great to have also. I did not notice any lack of maneuverability with this tire size, so I would shoot for the 29er if you can. Single shifter is a must for a trail bike IMO to keep things simpler as you are quickly hunting for a gear. Honestly, manufacturers should just ditch the front derailleur for all trail bikes. If I had to nitpick, I would say it could use 1 or 2 more gears in the middle. Dropper post tbh I did not use much yet but I have to learn how to quickly recognize when I need to engage it. I feel this is a great mid-level trail bike. I had never heard of Ghost until I tested it out at the REI. Good stuff.
Quality mountain bike. Seems like it will last a long time.
