Attaches only to front 2 tent poles
This footprint did its job keeping the tent and me dry on our maiden voyage, but it only attaches to the tent at the 2 front poles, not at the rear nor side poles, so that's not a great design; at the rear, the tent poles end in a pocket at the end of a sleeve, rather than in a grommet like at the front (and everywhere on most other tents I have). Overall, this is not one of my favorite tents, and I found this footprint design disappointing, but at half price I was happy enough with them.
Does not attach well to the rear of the tent
I am not a fan of this tent footprint due to the fact that it does a poor job attaching to the rear of the tent due to it not having grommets on that side. I don’t like the sewn pole-tube design of this tent, and the pole-end pockets on the rear of it which make the attachment of a footprint problematic. This footprint does seem to do the usual job of adding some protection to the bottom of the tent.
Lightweight and Sufficient
I’ve used this once winter camping and it worked well.
