Don’t buy from REI
Only used twice and it started to slow leak. Caused me to have to inflate several times each night. Since I purchased over a year ago REI didn’t trust this long time member and said “so sorry” but did nothing. Online you can find better and cheaper options.
It worked great!
I used this pillow for two nights during a bit of a chilly Florida Trail backpack trip. It fit inside of my Marmot women's sleeping bag making it stay in place. It was sooo much better than trying to use a bag full of clothes/jacket under my head. For packing I was able to clip it to the outside of my pack so it took up no room, although it is small enough to stuff inside.
light, comfy, but not durable
I've owned two of these over the course of about 5 years, and it's easily the most comfortable pillow I've ever used. It's also easy to inflate and deflate. Downside is they never really last that long, developing slow leaks after a couple of years, in spite of my taking great care to store and use them gently.
Compact and comfortable
Have used this pillow for bike packing, backpacking and camping. It is so compact and still comfortable to sleep on. An upgrade from anything I ever used before. No issues in the two years I've used it.
