Amazing Bike - No Joke.
It's December 2019, and I special ordered my Med. Cannondale Quick 1 from the Fremont store in California. This bike, is one of those bikes that has become legendary in my extensive stable of bikes. I don't know what Cannondale does, but their AL frames and Carbon forks are so well tuned to each other, that you get a ride that is sublime. This bike is almost full Shimano 105 except for the crank (which I replaced immediately for a 105 Shimano) for around $1400. The ride quality of this bike is amazing. I added a slightly longer stem, put clipless pedals on, and changed the grips to Ergon GP1s and now its absolute perfection. With all the changes, I am still under $1600. Don't limit yourself to thinking this is a "fitness bike" or a "hybrid". Think of this as just what it is; a lightweight and strong road-bike (Shimano 105) with discs and a comfortable riding position. Well done Cannondale for making a fantastic bike, at a great price point.
Awesome Lightweight Bike, great on/off pavement
I own several bikes, most are Cannondale, I own a Synapse road bike, a Trail 29er and a Tesoro No X2 E-bike. I went to buy some tire tubes and this bike was sitting there in my XL size, I put one finger under top bar and lifted bike off ground. Looked bike over and saw it had Shimano 105 components, carbon fork and was to my surprise on sale. I took for a short ride and was amazed how well mannered this Black beauty was. I can easily pick up and place in back of truck or on bike carrier, or in some cases carry up or down steps to access bike path. One set of steps at Harpers Ferry WV C&O trail is two stories high, much easier than any of my other bikes suited for light off pavement use. Bike is similar to my Synapse road bike but can take off pavement and like the straight handlebars and hydraulic disc brakes. Only thing I did is upgrade the tires to 700X35 Kenda Quick Drumlin. Love this bike for its intended use.I'll prob take it along most places I go just in case I find a nice new trail.
