Poor cushioning; overpriced
First, these slippers run a little small. I measured my foot before ordering and a size 9 should have given me 1/2 to 3/4 inches to spare. Instead, my toe fit snuggly to the end. Second, the lip at the heel makes it difficult to just "slip into" the slipper. I like that it holds the slipper securely on my foot, but I feel like I need a shoehorn to put the slipper on. Over time, this portion of the slipper is going to become smushed. Lastly, and most importantly, for $100 I want to feel like I'm walking on a cloud. Not so with these slippers. There is little to no cushioning.
Perfect, warm, cozy, but you might need to size up
These slippers perfect, warm, cozy, well made, good looking, and beckoning me to wear them all day. I did have to size up. I usually wear an 8 and based on other reviews ordered the 8. They were tight, but other reviewers have said that they stretch in a day, so I wore them a couple of days, hoping that would happen. That did not work for me. Since I like my slippers to be a little more spacious than regular shoes, I traded the 8 for a 9 and it's much better. They feel roomy and comfy, but they do not feel too big, and they do not try to come off when I walk. I have been looking for slippers with a back on them for quite some time. I'm so glad I found these. I couldn't be happier. I plan to spend a decade wearing them out, then buy the exact same slippers. Don't change them between now and then :-)
Happy with these
I like my Ugg Tasman slippers; they are very warm and comfortable. I ordered my usual size 9 and they feel snug at first, but they do stretch, so I'm glad I went with my normal size. They do fit a little awkwardly around the ankle where the thicker band is, but overall I like them and am glad I got them.
