Tortured Engineering—won’t fully open
I ordinary like AM products, but this table is the result of a disastrous design. The goal is for the legs to expand in an accordion fashion with the braces sliding down the legs, but it fails. First, the braces don’t slide evenly or completely which means the table top will not fit squarely on top of the frame. You can’t force it either because it’s cheaply constructed. To make matters worse, no matter where you sit your knees will bump into the braces. Do not waste your time with this model; it’s a mess. AM makes a dining table utilizing a different design, so it may be a much better product than this one.
Great camp table!
We love this camp table and have used it every weekend during COVID19. Its very easy to set up and very easy to clean. It seems to hold a lot of weight—double burner camp stove, Dutch oven full of food, cocktail fixins, etc, all at the same time (it makes me nervous when the hubby keeps piling things on, but so far so good). It’s the perfect height for meal prep too. As another reviewer pointed out, it’s design would prohibit comfy seating as a dining table, but it’s perfect as a table to hold things at a comfortable height. Also packs down well so it is easy to transport. The storage sack is big enough you don’t have to wrestle with it.
Great little camp table!
It is what it is! It’s light weight, and sturdy enough for my camp grill or camp stove. It’s easy to set up and easy to take down. It all fits wonderfully into its stowage bag and no issues for me! Love it!
Don’t waste your time
Flimsy cheaply made junk. Picked it up on sale and returned it immediately.
Miss it when we don't take it with us.
We purchased and have owned this table for about fifteen years now and it has proven to be an invaluable part of our car camping/picnicking. Some things to know about it: a) it isn't light enough for backpacking use (it rides in our truck bed and goes everywhere with us), b) it isn't large enough for a whole dinner spread (its perfect for my wife and I to share a meal), c) don't try to place your legs under it while eating a meal - it just isn't large enough and you'll knock it over easily, d) the best way to set it up is to place the table (top down) on the ground and attach the legs/frame...you'll need to exert pressure on the frame to expand it completely and the best way is to do it this way, otherwise it will be next to impossible to set it up by placing the table top on top of the extended leg/frame. Once you understand its limitations and how to use it you'll find this to be a wonderful product. It's durable - it's ridden in our truck bed for many miles and many years. Its sturdy. It's a perfect size for two people - if you have a family look elsewhere as this isn't large enough and will easily frustrate you. The end caps pop off now and then but a dab of glue remedies the problem. I gave this a five-star review because we've learned how to set it up and how to use it and we have learned to keep it with us in our truck. It has limitations but it beats eating off the tail gate, on a blanket on the ground, or holding everything in your hands.
Perfect table for any outdoor activity.
Great table for outdoors. Easy setup and stable. Legs easily adjusted to tweak to level position. Surface easy to clean.
Good intentions, bad follow through
The size is exactly what I wanted. It packs up small and weighs little. But the material is cheap and doesn’t seem like it would hold up well. lots of flex in the metal slates. Decided to return it so I can invest in something that might put last this.
Solid table
This isn't the lightest camp table on the market but it is easy to assemble and is stable on flat surfaces. I bought this because of COVID restrictions at my work, our breakroom is closed as are our picnic tables so I bring things and a folding chair and picnic every day. Honestly, I plan to keep it up after all this because I can follow the shade.
Handy table.
Adequate for the price. Not the sturdiest table on the market. Will suit me fine as I am usually gentle on equipment.
