The best tinted mineral sunscreen
I was looking for a tinted mineral sunscreen to replace my chemical version. I finally landed on Sun Bum tinted sunscreen. And though I kept trying different versions of mineral sunscreens, nothing compared with Sun Bum. It goes on so smoothly, isn't greasy and more importantly, it isn't sticky! That's what I hated about other mineral sunscreens. The hint of color is a needed touch for my fair skin with some redness in my cheeks. And though it doesn't fully cover the redness, I've learned to live with it because I'm at the age where I don't care anymore! I just wanted a great product at a reasonable price and that's what this sunscreen is.
Best sunscreen I’ve ever used.
After trying sunscreen after sunscreen, I FINALLY found the one that I fell in love with. This sunscreen does not feel like a chore in my skincare routine. I actually enjoy putting this on my face every day. The texture of this sunscreen is incredible. It feels very similar to a hydrating primer. Non-greasy. Plus this provides a great sheer coverage that actually does a fantastic job of evening out my uneven skin tone. This sunscreen is not shiny. It has a very natural finish. The way this looks and feels on the skin is just incredible. To top it all off, it’s also fragrance free! I am SO impressed with this formulation. I will never use any other sunscreen!!!
LOVE it!
This is by far the best tinted moisturizer/B.B. cream I’ve ever used, and I have used Tarte, Boscia, and Dr Jart. It glides so smoothly over the skin like a mousse and just melts in without looking dry, cakey, or settling into lines. It gives my skin a healthy glow and helps even out my skin tone. It is natural coverage which I love and I just use a concealer on problem areas. I like this so much I wear it alone, but the one time I did wear it under a foundation it was great too. My only request is that they make a fair shade for us porcelain princesses, but it is worth using right now even as-is!
My favorite sunscreen right now
I have very sensitive, acne-prone skin and I've been trying to find a sunscreen that doesn't cause breakouts but doesn't leave a white cast. This one does the trick. I put it on over my moisturizer and it leaves a nice matte finish. Because of the tint, it doesn't leave a very noticeable white cast, although my skin does look a bit paler when using this. It applies evenly and easily. I haven't found a better sunscreen that ticks all of the boxes. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it is hard to find and the bottle is small, so I'll go through it quickly.
A Daily Staple
I stumbled on to this product by accident. I'm very fair and freckled and wear sunscreen daily. My face has always been a problem with lotions bleeding into my eyes and sticks being too heavy and not practical with any make up. This feels like butter going on, has a matte finish, is buildable with some coverage, evening out skin tone, is perfect by itself or as a primer under make up with no unnecessary scent. I just can't say enough about it. It has never caused a break out and no stinging chemicals in my eyes. It lasts me about a month. It's biggest downside is that it's not consistently carried at retailers where I buy other SunBum products. I order ahead directly from their web site now so I don't run out.
Baby bottom soft!
I love this product. It’s my easy go to quick thing in the morning! Since I’ve moved to Dallas (from Chicago), I’ve started researching more on sunscreens, especially for my face. Because this Texas sun ain’t no joke; it is hot! I can put this on by itself or with my morning light mineral powder make up. It’s one of the only products that works for me, since I am highly sensitive and acne prone to whatever touches my face. Just FYI - squeeze it a little and mix it up a bit before use (w the top on). Otherwise, the oil will spill right out, first. It tends to separate.
Perfect Daily Sunscreen
I use this sunscreen daily after I apply moisturizer in the morning and before I apply my makeup. I love the silicone feel to it and is the first sunscreen I have tried that is not greasy in the slightest on my face. For someone with oily skin, I don't think I will ever use another sunscreen on my face. The price is right, and covers everything you need: Fragrance Free Mineral Base Broad Spectrum Tinted Water Resistant This product check off all the boxes that everyone needs in their sunscreen. So stoked to have found this product and always recommend it to others.
Caused Allergic Contact Dermatitis
I have to say this was very much my favorite sunscreen that I have tried. It applied like a mousse, spread incredibly well, and offered a great tinted effect. The one HUGE downside is that I got incredibly itchy and irritated from the sunscreen after a week of daily application. I thought I had suddenly become allergic to my cat or the pollen in the air but neither could explain the itchiness on my ears, neck, and entire face. After stopping for a couple days, my skin started to feel better. I don't have very sensitive skin and I've never had such a bad reaction to a product so I was very disappointed. It really sucks to have to toss this sunscreen as it's my favorite in terms of application and appearance. Also not reef-friendly so work on that SunBum!
This tinted Sun Bum mineral
This tinted Sun Bum mineral sunscreen is the BEST! I was using another mineral sunscreen for awhile but then they changed up their formula and their tinted mineral sunscreen was terrible: made me shine, felt greasy, and kind of burned a bit (I have sensitive skin). This Sun Bum mineral sunscreen is perfect! Goes on matte, doesn't look oily, doesn't feel greasy, doesn't burn. I'm so glad I found you and please don't change your formula (or if you do, just add new products but please don't take away this one)!
Love this tinted MINERAL NOT
Love this tinted MINERAL NOT CHEMICAL sunblock. MADE IN USA. Also like products made in Germany, UK, etc. And clearly marked as such. Perfect tint for my fair skin. A little thin though. I mix it in my hand with my foundation, which is a little too thick. Then I have the right consistency for my needs...light to medium coverage. But I have to purchase two products, mix, and my foundation has no sunblock, so I'm probably diluting some of the protection. But both products are great. It would be nice to have Sunbum make the tinted moisturizer just a little thicker for better coverage & consistency...WITHOUT CHANGING THE SHADE OF THE TINT. Ordered online and it arrived FAST...like 2-3 days...don't even think Sunbum themselves had time to send to me tracking information. Impressive speed.
