Since so many are asking.....

The light comes with both a band clamp intended for seat post mounting and a clip for attaching to a seat bag. The band clamp has two rubber spacers which may allow it to be fitted to a seat stay but that depends on their diameter and roundness. The batteries are accessed by prying the two halves open and there is a rubber seal between the two halves. It appears to be well made but I have no idea about longevity or battery life as I just bought it myself. At 12 bucks, I think it’s a bargain compared to other similar lights.

Very narrow angle at which it is bright
Rob

I liked that this light used standard AAA batteries, and also that it had two different attachment modes - bracket for seat post and clip. But it has a VERY narrow angle of view at which it is bright - maybe 5 or 10 degrees. With it on my wife's bike, it was very bright if I was directly behind her, but the minute I veered off a bit it dimmed substantially. So I am a bit disappointed and will be looking for another light. Our plan was to buy two lights, one for my wife's bike and one for mine, but I will definitely not be buying another one of these.

Bright light - questionable clip

The light is really bright, it has three flash modes, and is a good value for dollar. However, you need to attach it to your bike with the screw on ring, and not the secondary clip. I used the second attachment option put the light on my bike bag, and when I hit a small bump while riding the light went flying into the road. I'll probably be buying a new one from REI very soon.

Great light, moves around

The lights are nice and bright. Solid and flashing light modes. You can take the light off the mount very easily, but it also stays nice and secure. The only downside is that the adjustment to change the angle the light points isn't very strong, and so after my rides I find that bumps cause the light to ultimately more downward than I initially set them.

Good light, bad mount

I have been using this light for a couple months now. However, the other day as I was riding I heard something drop. When I stopped and looked back realized the screw came off and the light went falling. Luckily I was in a residential area so I could hear it hit. If I would have been on a busier road or bike lane I probably would have lost it. Needless to say had to go through my miscellaneous screws to find a new screw.

great bike light!

This is a great bike light that is easily mounted and easily removed to take along with you after locking up your bike. The 3 light options are easily visible by other bikers and motorists. If this light was rechargeable instead of needing batteries it would be even better. This is a nice bike light for the price.

Good value for the price

Good intensity, 75 lumens. I basically only use the random flicker mode and it is visible from over 150 ft. And probably more. I like that it has common AAA batteries.

Screw in the bracket wasn't long enough

Nice light but I was unable to properly mount the bracket that holds it on my seatpost. The screw was a millimeter too short when I added the rubber strip that was included in the packaging. So it is very loose and can be held on only with tape.

Heavy but bright

Super bright light but heavier than newer models since it uses batteries not UCB charger. Trade off of price vs weight works for me .

Perfect Alkaline Battery Tail Light

I wanted a light that uses standard batteries. It has a nice mount that allows the light to slide on and off easily plus a clip to hook it over an edge. It is nice and bright and I like the three options: on, blinking and strobe.
