Good with a design flaw
This has a bright light and great modes to it. It's easy to use with the button being intuitive. However, the way it straps the rear is so it's always to either the left or ride side. This make it proteus depending which side you pick. Additionally, the strap it comes with it's not that strong so it can easily fall some day. And that's what ended up happening for me. The light just came off one day and not sure how.. I would say this would probably work better place on a helmet or something else besides the rear of the bike, based on its design. I say go for a different light that can be place on the rear more effectively and facing more centrally.
Perfect little taillight, in my opinion!
Easy to use, easy to charge, easy to secure to bike. Rode with it on "flashing" for a 2-day ride where we were on our bikes for about 4 hours each day. Still had charge left at the end of the ride. This is my first rechargeable bike light purchase and I'm very pleased - will never go back to batteries! Is also the first easy on/off bike light I've ever owned - I'm used to the old style where you secure a heavy duty "dock" to your bike and slide your light off and on when you need to use it. I really like this style over leaving a dock screwed on to your bike. Great, basic light - good visibility but not blinding.
not good
After 3 time on/off to charge the strap broke. Don’t waste your money on this
Poor design
Wanted to like this because of price, USB, but ii attaches to the side of the seat post and so sticks out more to the side than most typically mounted rear lights. As a result your leg hits it. Annoying and will probably fall off. Might be ok if you have a side saddle.
Planet Bike
I love this Light I used the Light every Wednesday night during my Rollerblading
Not that great..
The actual bike light is not the problem. Nice, bright light with different flashing or continuous options. Like other reviews have posted, and as you can see in the photo the strap is underneath the light. So that means when you attach the strap (light is sideways now) it's off to one side. Depending on your bike geometry, your leg hits the light and knocks it to the back, which... doesn't help you as much as now the light is flashing to the side..
So Far So Good
Have only used once so far: 3-hour ride and the light stayed on the full time. The strap is easy to attach to various areas of the bike and I like that I can recharge via usb.
Safety at a Reasonable Price
The Planet Bike Spok tail light works well and is easy to charge. I rode fifty miles in the mountains around Telluride and it worked all day on the daylight setting.
Trusty light for night
I really like this little light. Inexpensive and dependable for night riding. Small enough to store in your backpack and use when needed.
Not as good as the first one!
Strap broke after 3 uses. Light is bright but but doesn’t last long.
