Bright tail light that is easy to mount and charge. When you slow down, the brake sensing technology changes the flash pattern to a fast flash at the brightest level. It's very sensitive to the point that a small rise in the road will set it off. This is a nice touch but it significantly reduces the run time. For example, I got 4 hours on the Slow Flash setting when the guide says this should be 9.5 hours. I logged a ticket with Niterider to see if this is expected and they essentially said it was. Also, the brake sensing feature can't be disabled. Fifth star would have been awarded if the run time was more honest and if the brake sensing could be disabled (for very long rides).
its just as advertised! I was anxious about the usb-c charge controller being cheap and only working with usb-a->C cords that a lot of these lower price usbc devices have, but its charges as expected from the same powerbrick and cable I charge my phone with (USBc->USBc)! I also really enjoy the seat post mount. it quick releases so you can bring it with you and has a clothing clip so you can clip it to your bag or pocket when you leave your bike around town. I like this light!
