Just bought 4 to replace my ENOs. Loved them but these are on a other level.

Excellent Investment

This Kammok hammock has been such a valuable investment. I have used it in the backyard, at the park, the mountains, the beach, and other vacations. It's easy to set up and pack away. I have gotten pretty close to the 500lb weight limit with combos of: 2 adults+2 teens or 2 adults+dog+1 kid and it it feels solid! Do yourself a favor and buy into the fun with the Kammok Roo Double Hammock at REI.

The Roo and Kuhli

Kammok Purchased the Kammok Roo Double since I already had a Kammok rain shelter, the Kuhli. The Kuhli was so easy to setup, as well as light weight, I decided to match it with the Kammok hammock. Setup of tarp and hammock (no bug net and no under-quilt, yet) took about 15 minutes. Tree straps are needed. The extra length compared to my other hammock was a noticeable improvement. Diagonal lay was more horizontal (feet to one side, head to the other). Sleeping on my side will definitely be better. The tarp fit fine overhead, but not too much extra sheltering of the ends during a rain. That test will come some day as well as snow. Can’t wait. I’ll just have to factor in weather and wind direction for setup. Stuff sacks for the hammock and the tarp are small. I found that stuffing with the bottom of a sack on my chest made it doable. Tight fit for both though. Even so, takedown and pack up was not bad at about 10 or so minutes.

The Porsche of Hammocks

I've tried various hammocks, from Amazon no-name Chinese generic ones, to REI ENO brand. ENO's are a solid choice if you can get them for $50 with straps, but Kammok are the top notch in the Hammock world. The material is amazing (slightly stretchy, something Amazon no-names will lack) and the stitching is perfect (something ENO fails on). These two aspects make it a long lasting, wonderful hammock. I've had mine for ~4 years with no issues at all. Kammok also has accessories that mount to the hammock. The Field blanket incorporates great with it, and the straps you can buy are sweet. Love the company and what they make.

I'm taking this everywhere!

I used my new Kammok Roo Double Hammock for the first time this past weekend on a solo camping trip up to Big Bear, California. This Hammock is super easy to set up, holds up well in wind and rain, dries quickly, cleans easily and is so comfortable that I'm thinking about purchasing the Kammok bug net so that I can sleep in it. The best part of my day/night ( apart from hiking ) was spent cozily wrapped up in a Rumple swaying in the Hammock looking up at the stars. I'm taking this everywhere I go this summer!

Super Comfortable

I bought the Roo double and used it on a bikepacking trip for a week Southbound along the Rockies. I think it was some of the most comfortable sleep that i've had in a long time. I slept on my back and sides without any issues and had no problems getting in or out at any time. I used the bug net frequently but not the Tarp when the weather looked good enough. I loved the amazing views at night from the Kammok of the stars and found that the bug net was enough to keep off any morning dew. I'l be buying the underquilt to go with my setup, i used a sleeping mat but the quilt sounds a better option.

2019 model upgrade was worth it

Have one of the original double Kammoks. Decided to upgrade to the 2019 model. Was totally worth the upgrade. The 2019 model is a significant improvement. In the original model, hanging your legs over the edge was extremely uncomfortable and the integrated stuff sack was kind of a pain. Both issues have been totally resolved in the 2019 model. It's lighter, softer, more comfortable, packs easier, and less expensive. The newest Python straps are also excellent. I have been recommending my friends consider "The Explorers Kit." From my perspective, Kammok products provides better functionality and a nicer aesthetic to their rivals (though ENO hammocks are great too), and at a competitive price.

Shipping issues

Love the product, the outer packaging was ripped upon arrival . It was opened as a gift from the box it came in, and the paper outer shell of the hammock looked to be tapped several times to stay on, and was still ripped. My daughter thought the hammock was used. I catch jabs consistently about the used hammock I bought her.

Best Product Ever Purchased...

I absolutely Love this product, I use it every chance I can get. Every time I set it up I am almost always asked where I got it. Setting it up and breaking it down is so easy. It takes up practically no space, when traveling with it. Which makes it great for camping and using to sleep in. The detail this product is made with is absolutely world class. I have had my entire family in the Kammok at one time, My Wife, Our TWO kids and Myself. It held us without and problem. This is a product that will last a lifetime* (*Since I'm still living I'm testing out the lifetime claim), if not an extremely long time. Way to go Kammok keep up the great work!
