The Origami front fender is super light, easy to install and fits almost any bike. Punch it out from its packaging, fold it along on the seams and snap it onto the mount. It's that easy.

Nice, lightweight design

Love this front fender on my Salsa Warbird. The fender installed easily and is very lightweight. I rode on wet roads this morning and the fender keeps my chest and legs dry, as expected.

Mounted on top

There are jokes that indicated that this can be mounted on top rather than underneath. When mounted underneath with rubber straps it could easily pivot into the front wheel— not reliable to me for safety reasons on bumpy gravel and in wind. So despite photos I found online, I mounted it on top of the tube by removing my water bottle cage and then fastening them both. It is clearly made for this option but people do T seem to use it. Yes, it can’t be easily removed in dry days, but on the other hand it won’t cause a crash. Can’t comment yet about its effectiveness with water and mud— it’s still a drought this fall.

It depends

This fender works pretty well in moderate conditions. The wetter the trail or road, and the faster you ride, the efficiency of the fender drops off. Some water comes off the top of the tire and is missed by the fender.

Awesome fender!

Such a great idea and it works! Works great! Weight is negligible, installation is easy and straight-forward, and it keeps you from getting hosed when conditions would indicate otherwise.
