Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE: If your body measurements are midway between two sizes, select the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit. If your body measurements result in different sizes, we recommend using your chest measurement for tops and your hip measurement for pants.

Cut doesn’t fit, but nice product
Although the sizing on these bikini panties does not work for me, the product appears to be very well-made and the fabric has a soft hand (not scratchy). I read the product size chart and previous reviews before trying sizes Small and Medium. After trying-on both sizes (over my other undergarments), neither one will work for me, as I seem to fall in between the two sizes (the small is just a tad small and the medium is baggy around the leg holes). Wish they had an in-between size because I love the coverage/shape! For reference: I am 5’6”, 105 lbs, and am 31-32” where the top of the waistband on the panties hits (both waistbands fit without pinching).
Redesign is awful
These used to be my unicorn underwear - perfect fit, lightweight, dried quickly, durable (especially for wool, and flattering. I have pairs that I've used for heavy-duty activities for years and years that are still in good shape. However, the most recent iteration uses far less fabric, especially on the hip portion, so now the fit is way off and far skimpier. I wish I had bought more of the old version. Please bring it back!!
Updated fit = saggy bum/ rides up
These used to be my go-to underwear for hiking and became my dailies but they have changed the fit and they are nearly a size larger for a Small (i.e. small now = medium before the update). They were passable for daily wear but I went on an extended hike and they were all over the place; the waistband crawled up, I was frequently adjusting them; not at all the 'I forgot I had them on' experience I had with the version made ~1 year ago (maybe 1.5?). Although my shape hasn't changed between versions and I'm a small on the size chart I'm going to try downsizing (xs) and see how they perform on a hike if they aren't too small off the bat. I won't get my usual size again and may give up on this style if the xs don't work. I'm sad!
Perfect for travel
2 pairs for travel is all I need - a quick wash in the shower and by morning it’s dry and ready to go. An essential for packing light. Comfortable, not itchy, no wedgies. Comfy like grandma underwear with a sharp millennial look (not that it’s anyone’s business). Sizing guide is very good.
Great fit and fabric
Got them on sale and wear them all the time. Work, gym, camping they see it all. Really cuts down on sweat and bad smells. Also, as a white chick I thought the color would be weird on me (again I got them on sale so I wasn’t expecting them to be the best of the color choices) but I actually really love it. My usual mediums fit like a dream. I also like the smartwool bikini but the icebreaker hipster had too much material in the front hip to be comfortable under clothes. I usually wear hipster cuts so I started with that but tried the bikini on sale and really love it.
My new go-to backpacking underwear
I wore these for six days straight while backpacking and they were absolutely perfect. They ride low enough to stay out of the way of the pack's hip belt. They don't ride up or fall down, they stay perfectly in place mile after mile. No chafing anywhere. They kept everything dry, dried very quickly themselves, and never got that swamp crotch feeling a lot of underwear gets. Amazingly they still had almost no smell after six days and ninety miles. I'll be buying more of these.
New favorite underwear
DOESN'T MOVE. That means zero wedgies while hiking. Huzzah! Soft. Also more comfy than the Smartwool equivalent and doesn't give me a baby muffin top like Smartwool does. I want many more of these.
Amazingly odor resistant
Fantastic, soft, odor-resistant material. They're very pricey, the cut is too low in the back, and for some reason there are 9 long tags on the inside that are sewn in really well and annoying to cut out. But I'm a total convert and will continue to purchase these as I find them on sale until my entire underwear drawer is Icebreaker.
Sizes have gotten smaller
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've bought the same underwear in the past same size and this time around it appears the measurements have at least an inch missing in fabric/waistband compared to my other size small.
Replaced my entire collection with these!
I honestly threw away all my cheap material undies after giving these a try. I owe 12 pairs now and feel like it was a necessary investment for my active lifestyle (and for my body's health!). They stay pretty dry on sweaty hikes and are soft and comfortable. They do run small and I got Mediums because I didn't want to feel any tight bands, I'm 5' 6" and 118lbs
