I have owned several pairs of Hokas. The cushioning is super but the soles do wear out quickly. This time I thought I would get a pair that claimed to be a stabilizer. I have bad pronation in my left ankle. The footbed is really shallow and presses down on the top of my foot and my normal thickness socks make the shoe feel tight. I’m not sure if the stability control is worth it. I can’t fit my best arch supports in there because of the shallow footbed. Can’t wait to get them off my feet by the end of the day because the upper material just doesn’t allow air circulation like my other Hokas.

I am a marathoner and have narrow, slim feet and I really thought these would work for me. Tried them since the Vanquish has been discontinued. However, these shoes have zero flexibility and seem to flatten the tops of my toes. My toes start to hurt a lot and then the sides of my feet to my toes go sorta numb. I wore it several times thinking it would break in and become more flexible and comfortable. I thought that giving them a try for multiple short runs would do the trick or lacing them in different ways, but no luck. Really sad because these shoes seem really well constructed and were recommended as a replacement for my Vanquish. With my narrow feet I'm not sure who could possibly wear these comfortably.

I am a 50 yr old active female. I recently had 2 left foot surgeries (11/2016 & 7/2018), bunion removal, hammer toe correction, nerve tumor removal. I happened to purchase these because it was the only one with high stability, and prior reviews said it helped with plantar fasciitis. I ordered them in March of this year, and completely worn them out. These shoes keep me active, ordering WIDE was key to a comfortable toe box, the fit is perfect! This shoe takes the pressure off of the front of the foot, giving a more even balance with the 5mm drop. I cannot go back to my favorite asics or brooks. I have never turned my ankle once while wearing these shoes, the stability is for real! I'm picking up my second pair today. I have written HOKA and let them know that I would like to see more variety of colors for the Wide shoes, and all Black for work purposes. My hope is they won't change this shoe and how it works. Hope this helps out. Oh, if you have never worn a lower drop shoe, it does take time for the feet to adjust, but once you do, its impossible to go back!

Hoka sneakers are amazing! this is my third pair and now most of my family wears them. We are a very active family. What is so great is I can transition from trail hiking with the dog in the morning, going for a run in the afternoon and then standing at my quilting bench and my feet are in heaven! They are worth every penny.

Absolutely loved these shoes for city jogging and 12 hour hospital shifts. They held up great for 4 years! I also took them on dirt trails so I wore them out pretty quick.

Hoka One's are my favorite. They are comfortable, providing a lot of cushion. relieves back and lower extremity pain. Great product.
