Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements. Some women's pants are available in petite and tall sizes. Typically petite sizes fit women 4'11" to 5'3". Regular sizes fit women 5'4" to 5'8". Tall sizes fit women 5'9" to 5'11".
PETITE: Generally, as compared to regular sizes, petite sizes are 2.5 inches shorter in inseam, 1 inch shorter in body length, 1.25 inches shorter in sleeve length and ¾ inch shorter in total rise.
TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam, 2 inches longer in body length, 2.5 inches longer in sleeve length and 1.25 inches longer in total rise.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Great concept, poor construction
I bought this jacket for our honeymoon to Scotland. I wanted something that would handle a chill as well as the expected rainfall. Initially was thrilled with purchase because it’s fairly lightweight yet warm and packed pretty well. However, after pulling it on to trudge around a very chilly distillery I noticed that the pockets had already torn away from the jacket. As the trip went on one pocket separated completely making it useless unless I wanted to dig around in between the layers of the jacket for my keys etc. Overall disappointing because I’ve come to expect a very high quality from REI products. Definitely not even worth the discounted price.
Bad quality
I was given this as a gift a couple Christmas' ago and it has NOT held up well. Within a week all of the linings in every pocket ripped so I exchanged it for another and the exact same thing happened. I love anything I put in my pockets inside the jacket and have to fish them out. I do wear it for hiking and it does keep me very warm and I love the ventilation zippers on the sides so that you can stay warm all around but get some air circulating when you get a little too sweaty. I gave this three stars because it does keep me warm, but even after exchanging 2x it's made very cheaply. I wouldn't recommend whatsoever.
Waterproof & stylish
This jacket is great in rain & snow, but there are some things about it I wasn't crazy about. It runs a little small if you're planning to layer. The pockets are awkwardly really high up on the torso, which I didn't realize from the photo. The hood drawstring is difficult to tighten and loosen (I struggled to adjust mine in windy, rainy conditions, partially because I couldn't even find it right away). Otherwise, it's warm, waterproof, and stylish. I wore it in northern Idaho while hiking and tubing in the snow, and it was plenty warm in freezing conditions, especially while I was active.
Warm, cozy, fits well, what more can you ask ?
Sheeshy-foof, I got this for half price ! and it would have been worth it at full. This will be the coat I grab to take the greyhounds on the last Yard Patrol of the night in the rainy season.
Almost a five
Love the look and feel. Not a five b/c didn’t hold up to the wind and cold the way I thought it would and also b/c cinching the hood is not easy and uncinching is even more tedious. Otherwise a great jacket. I did not nor have I read reviews on this jacket. I usually do.
Simply does the job
And I mean it in a good way. I grab this jacket often for outdoor jaunts when I want to keep it simple -- one insulated jacket rather than a whole bunch of layers. It's just the right insulation weight, not too heavy, not too light. I'm short and a little busty and bought it in medium and large to see which fit better. The large was unbearably large, where the medium is snug. I can't layer a lot under it, but I'm OK with that.
Great Cold weather hiking jacket
I bought this jacket because I was getting too hot using my down hoodie as a hiking jacket. This is a great replacement for cold-weather hikes! It keeps me from getting overheated while hiking in the cold. I used it this weekend with just a long sleeve smart wool when it was 9° outside and I was totally comfortable! It is also water resistant so helps when there is a light snow. I highly recommend this jacket.
Makes student warm
The jacket pictured above is warm & comfortable. Stylish & warm. Goes perfectly with leggings. Lightweight & not bulky, easy to keep in class and stylish.
My New Go-To Jacket
I went to REI for a headband and left with the headband, a flannel shirt, and this jacket. I was kicking myself for buying things I didn't /need/, but I am super happy with this jacket. It's warm and cute. The pockets are oddly high, but they're fine. Arms and torso are a great length, and I like the zipper and velcro front.
Soccer grandma
I bought this jacket for my wife to ware to our granddaughters soccer games. Her jackets were not keeping her warm and dry. Needed to be rain/wind proof and not bulky. This jacket fits the bill perfectly. It’ll be great for hiking I’m sure.
