Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements. Some women's pants are available in petite and tall sizes. Typically petite sizes fit women 4'11" to 5'3". Regular sizes fit women 5'4" to 5'8". Tall sizes fit women 5'9" to 5'11".
PETITE: Generally, as compared to regular sizes, petite sizes are 2.5 inches shorter in inseam, 1 inch shorter in body length, 1.25 inches shorter in sleeve length and ¾ inch shorter in total rise.
TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam, 2 inches longer in body length, 2.5 inches longer in sleeve length and 1.25 inches longer in total rise.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Since receiving this jacket in the mail, I have barely taken it off! As a first time mom, I needed a lightweight yet warm layer to go on walks in the brisk mornings. This jacket is IT! My favorite characteristics are the many pockets, including two on the inside, the high quality cuffs where my wrists rest, and the hood that fits perfectly over a ball cap. It keeps me warm without feeling heavy, and I think it’s a great jacket for any outdoorsy mom who needs an “everywhere” jacket. The length of the arms and torso is excellent for tall girls like me (5’10”). I got a Large so other layers could easily fit underneath and am so glad I did (I usually wear Medium). I only wish there were more color options to choose from!
I liked the fit of this jacket a lot. I'd say runs true to fit, but is a looser fit allowing for good movement. Five pockets gave me plenty of room to store stuff. My phone fit in the chest pocket, my e-reader, sunglasses and snacks fit in the interior pockets, and I could still use the exterior pockets for my hands. The color was great, I was afraid it would be too close to white, but I love the grey color. Neutral, but keeps me from being in all black since I live in black leggings and joggers. The only downside is the hood is a little big and can get in my eyes if I dont have a pony tail or hat to help keep it up. Also packed great in my backpack, not the smallest but still fit easily. Not a superwarm jacket, but plenty warm for most winter days in georgia, especially with room to put another layer under it.
This is a great, lightweight jacket for hiking in cool weather and everyday use. I've been wearing it every morning for my brisk dog walks, and for taking my kids to school on the cargo bike. It's also great for long cold hikes because it's so lightweight and packable if I need to take it off. I like the fit; it's roomy enough to stash things in the pockets without looking bulky but fitted enough to keep the wind out. There are nice cuffs and a cinch pull on the bottom (see photos) to help with wind and it's slightly longer than other puffy jackets I've had, which provides good warmth and coverage. The hood fits me well (I have a very large head) and keeps my hair covered from wet fog/dew. As a kid/dog mom, I appreciate all the pockets. The chest and side pockets all zip, to keep my phone, snacks, dog bags, etc secure. I also love the internal stuff pockets to shove things like gloves or a hat. Lastly, it stuffs into its own zippable pocket!
Very lightweight with enough room for me to wear a sweatshirt underneath. I have size XS & jacket fits true to size. I wish i had gotten the small so I could’ve worn more layers under it. I’m 5‘4“ and weigh 115 pounds. I was on the edge between XS-S. I love this very neutral, gentle color (Echo Gray). Two fairly large inside and outside pockets. One left chest pocket makes it complete. The outside pockets have zippers that glide smoothly up & down. Would I recommend this? Yes, probably a great spring jacket you could layer for the cooler days. It could probably go later fall depending on where you live. Packable in its own pocket! This will be my go to jacket this summer!
This jacket is the perfect layer for cool fall or spring days outside. It is lighter than other puff shells but gives the right amount of warmth to wear alone or over a fleece. I like that it has a drawstring in the waist to tighten when needed (keeps the wind out). It also has elastic cuffs which give a bit of a seal around the wrists, but the elastic isn’t overly tight. There are inner pockets which is a nice feature. There is also a loop inside the left pocket for a key ring, which is really handy when you want to keep your load light. The outer pockets have zippers for added security, and there is a chest pocket as well. The hood isn’t adjustable but it has the same elastic around the rim so that it hugs you more than a hood without it would. The color I got will probably show dirt much quicker but after a week or two of wearing it I’m not seeing any dirt on the sleeves or cuffs. Overall very happy with this lightweight jacket.
Really happy with all of the pockets! There is a loop for an avvy beacon or keys or something. So happy to see a women's coat with the pockets on the front inside too, big enough to fit my skins in them too. Relatively lightweight but plenty warm especially when doing activities. I mostly skiied with it, both at resorts and backcountry. For a jacket not meant for any specific activity, I found it to be excellent for skiing but not full of unnecessary features that couldn't be used for everyday wear.
I’ve been looking for a lightweight synthetic filled jacket to replace my Patagonia that was eaten by my niece’s (naughty) dog. The new version did not fit the same as the one I had. This one from REI is a great substitute. Advantages are the hood is more roomy, it has interior stash pockets AND a CHEST POCKET! The fill is recycled (I think?). I wore it xc skiing in the woods and it’ll be great for hiking when I want extra insulation by itself or under my shell (didn’t want down because if it gets wet, you’re screwed). Three things I wish were different are: lighter weight/more packable, the side pockets have flaps instead of flush zippers (I like the flush look better/more streamlined), and a way to cinch the hood.
this jacket is the perfect layer for chilly norcal mornings. it's lightweight but still very cozy. the hood is a great feature for a little extra warmth and also came in handy when I got caught out in some drizzle. It will also be the perfect travel jacket because it packs down really small and has large inner pockets- perfect for holding a phone, passport, wallet etc. in a more secure location.
I originally got this coat for Christmas in 2020. It fit perfectly and was great quality. My favorite coat. Unfortunately December 2024, it got stolen. I immediately ordered the same one. The new one showed up and I'm so disappointed. I got the same size, but the fit is different. It's a little longer and has longer sleeves. I decided to keep it thinking it was good enough. But I've had it for a month and I can tell the quality is not the same. I wear it on my walk to work and my backpack rubbing against it is pilling the stitching. There's now little grey fuzzies where the thread is getting rubbed against. It's only been a month of me using it three times a week. Unfortunately, I don't see this holding up very long, especially with hiking/backpacking.
This jacket is lightweight down but easily compresses to be packed. It fits true to size but not much extra room to layer on top of a bulkier item such as a sweater. I love a jacket with a hood and front pockets and the quality seems good - I wish the logo was embroidered/sewn versus a decal. I received a stone-colored jacket which is feminine and neutral to match with most everything
