REI Co-op  Trailmade Insulated Hoodie - Women's

After I raced my 50k, it was kind of hard to regulate my temperature. It was pretty humid and I had been running and sweating for over 6 hours, so going into an air conditioned building felt like the arctic. I was so glad I brought my REI jacket for those first few hours post race. I love the mustard color and can’t wait to wear it all fall and winter!!

I own an earlier version of this jacket without a hood, and the second I saw this one had one, I was sold. That hood makes a bigger difference than I expected—it keeps the wind and cold off my neck and ears without having to dig for a beanie. It’s legitimately warm. Like, “I can wear this as my only outer layer on colder days” warm. The insulation doesn’t feel bulky or restrictive, which I appreciate. And the color? Boldl. It doesn’t disappear in a crowd. I get comments on it pretty regularly, which is rare for a jacket. Overall I’m really happy with the upgrade. The hood alone was worth it, and the warmth + color, seal the deal.

I love this hooded jacket! It is so warm and comfortable. It is true to size but I sized up in order to be able to layer during the winter. It compacts down to fit in a large fanny pack during hikes and roomy enough to hike and move freely without feeling restricted. The hood is large enough to cover your head while wearing a baseball cap or a warm beanie with a pom. The inner and outer pockets are so spacious too. This jacket is worth the value, even if you live in a mild winter climate.

This hooded coat is lovely. It’s very warm but not super thick, so it’s lightweight and easy to move around while wearing it. The fit is very nice; I think it runs a little big, but still felt well tailored. It seems to be very good quality and will hold up well, as expected from REI. The color is beautiful and timeless for fall. I can’t wait to wear it for late fall/winter hikes, but as a busy mom, I know it will be equally useful for playground outings and school drop-offs.

I absolutely love this mustard colored REI Co-Op Trailmade Insulated Hoodie. It's lightweight without sacrificing warmth, making it perfect for layering or wearing on its own. The cut is really flattering to the body without feeling tight or restrictive and the material feels incredibly soft and comfortable. I also love the mustard color. It adds a fun pop to my outdoor wardrobe. Overall, a great combination of comfort, style and functionality.

Great synthetic layer. Fabric feels more durable than my other layers designed for backpacking, which is super great when you are not weight conscious. Just one sizing note, I would say it does run large.. I am typically a large or extra large and definitely would prefer a large.

Love this jacket! It’s warm, soft, and really comfortable without feeling bulky. I’m usually a medium, but I ordered a small because I wanted a more fitted look and planned to wear it underneath another jacket. The golden color is even prettier in person, and I’ve already received so many compliments on it. Definitely a great layering piece and one I’ll be wearing a lot!

Love the wider cut for layering. Drawstring inside if needed. Cozy! Doesn’t make a lot of noise when you move.

I needed a jacket to wear with bulky Aran sweaters. This is perfect. It’s lightweight. The fit is loose but but not boxy. The color green is not too bright. I bought a size small and I am 5ft4in and 105lbs and it’s big on me and a bit long in the shoulders. If I wasn’t using it for bulk underneath I would have gotten an XS.
