Kept hands warm, but not sweaty
I did a lot of research before purchasing these gloves. I don't normally run in cold weather (I'm a baby), but I signed up for an Ultra Marathon in December this year, and needed warm running items. I wanted gloves that I could run in that would keep my hands warm, but not warm enough that my hands would sweat badly. These gloves fit that description to a T! They keep my hands toasty, but they wick away the moisture and keep my hands mostly dry. I wear these in every winter run now. The only negative is that the fingers seem to be a bit long to me. I do have stubby fingers, but these seem to be longer fingers than needed.
Love These - Bought a Second Pair
I use these consistently throughout the winter backpacking and hiking season. I've used them as liners when my heavy winter mitt liners get too warm or wet, but I most often use them alone when temps are between 15 and 40 degrees and I'm moving (snowshoeing, hiking, or backpacking). If it's below freezing I'll usually throw on warmer gloves when stationary, or if there is severe wind chill. I have experienced quite a bit of pilling where the straps of my trekking or ski poles contact the back. But other than a hole from a mishap with a campfire, they've held up very, very well.
Worn through in 6 months
I live in Phoenix, Arizona, so I haven't worn these that much since I got them in January, but the fabric is already worn through to the point that there are holes in the finger tips and thumb pads.
Holes after 2 days
Bought these for a boarding trip out west. Used them for 2 days as a liner, and after day 2 there were holes in the index fingers and thumbs. I've never had an issue with gloves wearing out like this. Pretty disappointed with the quality.
I would not buy again.
I was looking for something light weight for working outdoors. I do traffic control so wanted something thin for cooler days but not ice cold days.. Today was 3 degrees with a high of 9 degrees. Figured as a liner given this isn't freezing temps they would be ideal. Hands were still ice cold to the touch. Even a co worker was shocked how cold my hands were. Was disappointed given package said cold to very cold. Was a none windy day. Gloves stayed dry all day. However disappointing they were unable to keep my hands warm even at 5 degree temperature average.
Great glove for winter hiking
Used these for multiple winter hikes in the NH White Mountains. Great stand alone glove or as a liner over a winter mitt when temps drop in single digits or wind chill in the negatives.
Great gloves
The gloves are made the perfect shape - they’re thin but you can still move your hand easily. I set my tent up wearing them. And they kept my hands warm when it was in the low 20s. The only thing I wish they had are capacitive fingertips so I could unlock my phone.
Northface Flashdry Glove Liners
I got these not so much as a glove liner, but to have thin/warm gloves that would fit in the coat pockets & not be too bulky. I will use them as glove liners if I'm going to be out in the cold for an extended time with other thicker gloves.
Great liner gloves for the price
Great for everything from skiing liner gloves to daily use in the winter. Would rate higher but to use a phone you need to take the gloves off.
Didn't last long
They were comfortable and dried quickly, but felt apart fast.
