Smartwool  Merino Gloves

I loved these thin liners for the price. They were really warm for various uses-liners for skiing, hiking, at the crag hanging out and even under a belay glove ice climbing at one point. They barely lasted a year though before the seams at the tips of almost every finger started to come apart and eventually left the tips of my fingers completely out of the glove. Not a bad deal for the price and likely much better for someone not using them as frequently as I did.

good fit for a small hand, superthin lightweight, lighter than my old pair, more of a liner weight. unfortunately the seams of the fingers with the screen touch material have sharp knots inside the glove that literally feel like my fingers are being stabbed. not comfortable.

These are my first wool gloves as an adult and they fit me good, I got small. They are really thin though and they’re definitely not that warm so I guess they’re only supposed to be used as liners inside of another pair of gloves etc. and I did try that and they were fine for that. My fingers were still a little cold but I’m pretty sure they were warmer than they would’ve been without this. So I’m still figuring them out. I think the price is good compared to the other ones I looked at.

These gloves are comfortable, lightweight, and easy to stash in a winter coat pocket. Nice for winter dog walks, quick errands, or driving. Unfortunately, the durability just isn’t there. After about a year of regular use, the fingertips started ripping at almost all fingertip seams. They’re fine for the price and get the job done for a season, but I expected better longevity from Smartwool. If you’re comfortable with a one-year lifespan, they’ll probably work well for you.

These gloves are perfect for fall and spring running when my bare hands become uncomfortable in the cold. And when winter arrives, I wear them as a liner inside my heavier gloves. Because when my hands get too warm from running, I can take off the big gloves and let my hands cool off without my fingers becoming icicles. Occasionally I'll get caught in the rain. Wearing these gloves manage to keep my hands warm because of the Merino wool. Be gentle with them because they are not durable work gloves. The index finger wore out on my last pair and I hope the new design will allow them to last longer. Overall, definitely a good buy.

I constantly have these with me. I hate cold hands and this is the perfect layer to prevent that. They are small enough to store in a pocket so I always have them with me. They are great for weather changes when it is warn during the day but too cold after sunset to want bare hands. I own 4-5 pair so they are always within reach

I use these for running during cold Temps and I love the breathability of these suckers. According to measurements I made on my hand I was exactly a small, approximately 7. 5 inches from wrist to middle fingertip but luckily I ordered the mediums because I was nervous the small would be too tight. The medium fits absolutely perfect. They give just the right amount of warmth without being too much. The only downside I would say is that the seams are not that comfortable, but overall I love the glov3 and would recommend to anyone doing activities in the cold.

At first glance, they seem as thin as a pair of sheer hosiery, but don't be fooled - out in the cold they are incredibly warm for their weight, equalling gloves many times thicker. I'm not sure how they do it. They allow full motion and the touchscreen tips work great. If there is any complaint, I would like to see them be a little longer by the wrist. I have only had them for a week or so, so I can't speak about longevity. If you want gloves that are almost not there, but still really warm, don't hesitate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the perfect weight to use as liners under my ski gloves. I noticed a difference the first time I used them. If you need an extra layer in your gloves I highly recommend them. I could wear them on their own for walks or running when I need some extra warmth for my hands, but they have no grip for driving so they aren't meant for that. I have Raynauds syndrome so it's important that my hands stay warm. I bought a pair of these gloves last year and I was very happy with them. They are thin, so I used them as a liner as well as alone when temps were too cold for my hands but not cold enough for more bulky gloves. I live on the coast and often walk along the beach and Boardwalk in all seasons. My house is old and unevenly heated so on really cold days, I wear these liners inside of the house. The thumb and index finger pads work very well on my devices. I wore them so much that I wore a hole in one finger! I just bought another pair for this winter. The fingers are a little long for me but I think extra small would be too small across my hand. They help my hands to warmup at the beginning of my walks and stay warm when temps are above freezing.
