Study bike
I love this bike. Bought it for my 4 yr old. She loves riding it. I love that it is well made and light weight. Much lighter than other 12" bikes I looked at. My toddler is 40" tall and the seat is at the lowest level, FYI. We should get lots of use out of it.
Love this bike!
Bought for our tiny 5yo's birthday after she had mastered her mid sized balance bike. Great geometry for little bodies! 18" inseam means we didn't even have to use the training wheels for learning. She's taking on our skate park after about 1-2 hours practice over 2 weeks!
Good bike, but weird seat handle bar heights
Bike seems nice in build, but the lowest seat position seems oddly high for how low the handlebars are. We're going to take it to an REI store for adjustment and hope they can fix it. Otherwise we'll be getting a different bike.
3yo won’t get off it
Bought for 3yo first bike. Sturdy bike and stable, really an excellent bike.
heavy
Got two of these for my 3year old kids. The bikes are super heavy , they literally weigh half the weight of the kid. Even my adult road bike weighs less than these puppies. Also the pedals are hard to turn. It was not a good match for us- will be looking for a lighter model
Poor bike geometry
I really wanted to like this bike. I bought this for my daughter's birthday, who just turned 3 and is 35" tall, and it was clear from her first time on the bike that it did not suit her well. When she's on the seat, which is already in the lowest position, and holding the handle bars, her arms are angled too low. She just couldn't get comfortable on the bike. I can't imagine how bigger kids can ride this bike. I will be returning this bike ASAP.
Parents: Be Aware No Instructions Are Included
I received the bike in good time and it was packaged well. But there are no instructions on how to put on the training wheels or make sure the bike is road ready. I called customer service to ask about this and was told that no children's bicycles come with such instructions. For those of you more mechanically inclined, this might be fine, but for my household it's not.
