Difference between minimum(trail) weight and packed weight is 13.3 oz. 13.3 oz looks too much. Would you show the actually meaured weight by REI, the minimum and packed weight?

Asked by: BPLer
We have confirmed with Marmot that the package weight and trail weight are accurate.

what is the actual weight for tent, poles, stakes and rain fly only...It is always so confusing when pack weight and minimum weight is listed.

Asked by: Alice
The minimum trail weight is the rainfly, tent body and the poles. The packaged weight includes the other items, stakes, guy lines, tent bag, etc. For the minimum trail weight plus stakes, add a couple of oz. for the stakes.

hi rei, i bought a Marmot Eos 1p Tent, I used it once, but my rainfly becomes sticky and seam tape are coming off. May I know from your professional view why this is happening. I kept it dry in a box for storage and placed silica gels.

Asked by: Raphy
Tent rainflys become sticky when the waterproof coating on the fly breaks down and starts absorbing water. For more information on how to clean your rainfly and prevent this from happening in the future, please contact us by phone at 1 (800) 426-4840 or by email:
