It's completely worth the price - the perfect suit
I'm about 5'3", hour-glass shaped and about a size 8 in most pants/dresses. I took a chance and ordered online by following the sizing chart guidelines and it was spot-on. The material is thick so you can't see through it and it feels really well-made. The cut of the back is slimming. There isn't any extra padding or support in the top but it's snug enough that I don't feel uncomfortable with that at all (just thought it was worth mentioning if others really care about that). I can't recommend it enough for anyone who wants to be active and comfortable in their swimwear and likes a somewhat retro look.
LOVE THIS SUIT!!
I ordered this suit about a year ago and absolutely fell in love. Beautiful silhouette and the prints are very cute. There was a stitching issue in the crotch, but when I emailed customer service they got back to me right away informing me it was just a small batch of 'Camburi' print with that issue and all of the other prints had been fixed. They sent me a new one that day and I haven't had any issues with my new one. Couldn't be happier with the lido. A must have!
Adorable Suit, Horrible construction!
Wow! This suit WAS perfect. Stylish, retro, fantastic fabric, adorably feminine yet sexy. The second time I wore it, however, my sister noticed that my bottom was out when I bent down to get something under the water. Like a previous reviewer, my suit's crotch gave out. Who makes a suit that does that? I am being generous in one star mostly because it was beautiful in design but HORRIBLE in workmanship. Ugh. Thank goodness I bought it at REI! The return was a breeze!
Bottom ripped/unraveld
After reading these reviews I wanted to believe I'd be able to escape the fate that other reviewers experienced with their suits. Unfortunately, after wearing for 20 mins with a quick dip in the pool (nothing extrenuous) my suit also ripped apart at the bottom. I'm only relieved that I didn't flash anyone. this one is getting returned :-(
Very cute, but not for tall women
I wanted to love this suit (great fabric, great cut), but it's just too short! I'm 5'10'' and a size medium. In order to get my length, I'd have to get an XL. I'd love if they'd make long torso suits.
My Favorite Suit!
I bought a Lido in Camburi last year, and it tore in the crotch :( Seea was AWESOME enough to send me a new suit, as I had one that was a part of a small batch that had a manufacturing error. I love this suit!!! It fits so well in all of the right places and STAYS ON when surfing. That's so hard to come by.. The fabric is sturdy and very high in quality, which I could sense right when I pulled it out of the bag (biodregradable bag, that is!) Thanks, Seea, for making my favorite suit of all time.
You See EVERYTHING
The picture looks great... the picture is what sold me on the suit. However, the suit is quite horrendous. I am 5'6 and more shaped like a stick then anything else but this suit fits in all the wrong places. It not only is tight fitting but the fabric is so see-through that you can literally see everything. . . and I mean everything. Don't even bother trying it out. Big thumbs down.
Beautiful Suit, Iffy Construction
I bought this swimsuit in March 2017 and took it on a trip with me to Hawaii. I absolutely love the design and I liked how it fit on me (didn't show too much booty, which was exactly what I was looking for). I tried this suit on in store and it fit perfectly, but the third time I wore it in Hawaii, a family member noticed the seam in the crotch had begun ripping. Talk about awkward, the smallish hole was RIGHT on my lower butt. Luckily, I was able to wear a cover up for the rest of the day. I hadn't been doing anything out of the ordinary for a swimsuit of this quality--just swimming in the ocean, walking around town, 15 minutes attempting to skim board. This is not what I would have expected for a suit that cost this much, and I was super disappointed when I found out about the seam ripping. That being said, I still love Seea's suit designs, so I'm currently hunting for another suit that's similar (or possibly this exact same one). Talking with locals in Hawaii, this brand has a good reputation and they thought this situation might just be a fluke since they'd never heard of it happening before. Fingers crossed the next one I order will *a bit* more durable!
Hits in all the right places
Love the thick fabric of this suit and I really feel like I can move easily in it. The lines hit me in all the right places for a flattering, retro look. The contrast in fabrics is fun, too.

I was hesitant about this suit because I read some reviews about quality issues, but I reached out to Seea, who let me know that the issue was with one batch of suits last year, and that it never happened again, so I went ahead and bought it. SO GLAD I did!! This suit is so comfortable and the slightly thicker material shapes my body in a really flattering way! This is my new go-to one piece & I get so many compliments every time I wear it.
