Carve Designs  Beacon One-Piece Swimsuit - Women's

I have had various pieces of Carve Design swimwear. The Beacon was one of the first suits I purchased and have been through 4 of them (love the fit!). The older ones lasted in the pool until the fabric wore away. The newer ones faded in embarrassing areas after a few swims, so I stopped wear them. (Same thing happened with the 2 piece suits, swim leggings, and Madelines). The company says they make their suits differently now to help the environment. I would recommend just wearing their suits to the beach or poolside.

This suit is not intended for someone without something up top. It is designed to allow room for breasts. That means it's good for those who need it and will not compress your curves as much as most lap swimming suits, for instance. For an A-cup like me, way too much extra fabric in the chest area.

Swimsuit is not only cute, but it is very well made, completely lined, great fitting, and quite practical with its built in bra lining, too. I am short, 5'1", and I find this suit to be perfect for me. My daughter who is 5'5" feels the fit is great in the same size as me! Really, it's fabulous! I love the classic styling, low back and criss cross straps. There is nothing flimsy or cheap about this suit! You will love it.

Not the best design for swimming laps due to the straps. They don't stay flat or in place when you swim. But because it has been so hard to find a suit this year, I kept it and sewed the straps in place where they overlap in the back. I know, not the best solution, but figured by the time I return it and tried to order a replacement my size and choices would be gone. Once again, I think it's a male designer who goes for what is more sexy than functional... or it's a size 2 designer who has no back fat with no need to worry about multiple straps going every which way.

I bought several of these suits because they're cute. To my horror, after the first attempt of lap swimming (an hour in my gym's pool) it has faded about 35%. I wore it to swim one more time and oh boy it now looks like a rag (faded 75%, no kidding), all colors barely discernible. Please state that these suits are extremely prone to fading - not for swimming pool!

I was looking for a one piece swim suit for summertime. I have kids and wanted some coverage but wanted some back exposure. Plus I wanted some coverage on the chest. This one checked all the boxes. It covers my whole read, it doesn’t let any cleavage come out. The back opening is really nice. It was the only suit that didn’t make my butt look long or weird. Overall, I’m really satisfied! I bought a medium and I weigh about 140, 36 C, 5’5”

First one piece I've bought in over 30 years, perfect for a co-ed scuba trip with strangers. I'm a size 6 with 32 D bra, great support with nice cut, recommend.

While I love the stripes and the fabric, I am taking off 2 stars owing to two flaws in the design; the straps are nearly impossible to get untwisted after you put them on, and putting them on tends to result in weird twisting tangles. And it has bust padding that shifts around and folds, and is generally pointless and annoying. Also, for those who prefer full seat coverage, you may want to be aware that this has high cut legs that show off your tush. Regret this purchase, TBH.

Nice material and print, but the fit was awkward, as there was a big gap in the chest area. I’m a 36B and here was space for a lot more there. Returned it.

5'4", 110lbs, 32B - I went with the SM but have a longer torso and could have used an extra inch in the crotch but it will totally work. The SM is 28 inches, not 30 and the straps are not adjustable. Cute suit! Timeless style and quality fabric.
