Perfect for Broad Shoulders, Very flattering
I am broad through the shoulders and found that the Large was perfect (typically a large in tops, 36B). I could see people with more narrow shoulders having a hard time keeping the straps up. I think it will be great for surfing and volleyball. This is very comfortable with no annoying seams. I does not however have sewn in pads to prevent headlights so that is the only downside. The pattern does a good job of camouflaging this issue however. Be advised, the white background is not a true white as it appears in the pictures, another issue that could have been solved with a lightweight lining, it is slightly darker because of the blue on the other side.
Colorful & Comfortable
This is the most comfortable fitting bikini top I own! The wide straps sit really nicely on the shoulders and offer a good amount of support in the chest (I'm a 36 C and ordered a M). The v front is really flattering and the adjustable back tie is great. This top is great for keeping you covered in the water. I wear this bikini when surfing and it totally stays put, which I can't say for most other cute bikini's! The bottoms that complete the set are amazing as well.
Not for skinny shoulders!
I was excited to get a bikini top that would stay in place while surfing, swimming, exploring, etc., but the straps would not even stay on my shoulders while dry. If you have a smaller frame, beware that this is perhaps more appropriate for those with wide shoulders.
