Super Comfy and Lightweight
I wear a size 7 shoe and purchased these flip flops in size 7 and they fit perfectly. I bought these for a two week trip to Vietnam where it is humid and warm year round. I walked in these flip flops everyday on the streets in the city and on the dirt roads in the countrysides. They were super comfortable the entire time and my feet didn't feel weighed down. The sole feels like memory foam so my feet didn't ache at all from walking all day. Also there is great traction on the bottom of the flip flops so I didn't slip on the wet surfaces. I would take showers with these on as well and they dried in no time. I highly recommend these lightweight, ultra comfy flip flops!
My new go-to flip flops!
I love these flip flops! Immediately after trying them on for the first time I commented to my husband how comfortable and squishy they felt. The foam footbed provides great cushioning making these much more supportive and comfortable than my regular rubber flip flops. I also really like the webbing straps because they don’t bother the space between my toes like some other flip flops do. My only complaint—which isn’t really a sticking point for me—is the sizing: I think these run a tad bit small and I would have preferred a 10.5, but these don’t come in half sizes. All in all, I think these are great and I would highly recommend them if you’re looking for something more comfortable than your basic rubber flip flop.
comfy and sturdy!
im normally a 7.5 so i got the 7s (thinking theyd run large) but they were just a little small so i exchanged for the 8s and they are perfect. the sole is ridged so it gives you traction. the whole sole is sturdy but comfortable and thick so you are not right on the ground. the reason i gave 4 stars is because i can feel the straps when i walk so i am worried about potential blisters there. its not bad, but i was surprised that i noticed them rubbing me. overall, i have used this shoe for short walks and have found it to be worth the $15 i paid (sale price). probably not worth their full price at $28.
Perfect for the outdoors!
These Freewaters are unbelievably light weight and super comfortable! I happily wear them daily and they are my first choice for compact, easy slip on flip flops for all my outdoor activities. I go backpacking often and after a long day of trekking the trails, I am always excited to take off my boots, treat my feet, and happily snug into my Freewaters. I love these flip flops and would highly recommend them to anyone passionate for the Outdoors!
Lightweight and stylish
The first thing I thought when I pulled them out of the box is how lightweight the shoe is! The bottoms have a good surface to keep from sliding in wet conditions yet are still bendable and move with the foot. Strong and stylish strap that is not floppy. The slight arch support and foam conditioning make these flip-flops that you can wear all day. The shoe is slowly molding to my foot the more I wear them. I am looking forward to seeing if they really do hold their shape and structure long-term as advertised. Sure seems like it will! I wear a 9.5 shoe so ordered the 10 and there is still enough room for a true 10 without it looking too long. Someone with a wide foot may not like the strap placement - you would just have to try them. These would be great camp shoes because of the weight and bottom surface if you don't need a heel strap. Also good to wear around the house if you have tile floors like I do as it is like having anti-fatigue mats attached to you. They don't take a lot of room in a suitcase so it gives you that other pair of shoes that can go from casual dinner to the pool. You get to select which water project gets a donation from a portion of your purchase. Overall a great flip-flop with style and comfort!
Comfortable for every day
I became interested in Freewaters after reading about their support of clean drinking water projects. My first pair of Freewaters arrived in environmentally friendly packaging--a good start in my opinion. As light as they are, I was skeptical that the cushioning would last through my daily life of walking through town, up gravel lanes, and over rocky, sandy shore. So far, they are still comfortable and cushioned. Even the strap between the toes is soft and well designed--a pleasant surprise for flip-flops. I am looking forward to wearing them through the summer hopefully!
The most comfortable flip-flops ever
I purchased these flip-flops about a month ago because I was interested in Freewater's Outreach Program and wanted to support it. As it turns out, they are the most comfortable flip-flops I've ever owned! The strap is snug enough but not binding and the sole provides just the right amount of cushion.
Love the comfort!
I usually have trouble finding a flip flop with enough cushioning and support to wear all day. Thank you, Freewaters for coming up with design and construction that does both! Oh, and the pattern is really good looking.
