Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game changer I recently bought this bag and I am in love! I switched to this new spoon design because the classic mummy bag is so uncomfortable for my sleeping style. The bag was incredibly comfortable. There is so much room and the typical restricted feeling of a mummy bag is a thing of the past! The attention to detail by Nemo is unmatched. The thermo gils did their job excellently, the built in pillow sleeve was convenient, and the blanket fold was great for quick heat release. Packs down very well. Overall I have no complaints. One improvement could be the zipper on the bag. Compared to my previous bag, this one was not as snag proof as my other.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life changing! Why be constrained to a mummy bag? This Nemo Spoon bag is amazing, super comfortable makes camping much more pleasurable. Plus my beautiful girlfriend bought the Nemo Rave 30 Women's bag, and they zip together!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why are you still using a mummy bag? I have had this for a few months now and have used it on 5 trips. I love this bag! It is light, soft, and warm. Just this past weekend I had it in Shenandoah during a cold rainstorm and the temp dropped to 33. Just tuck your head in and pull up the heat flap and you are completely enclosed with enough room to not have your face in the bag (for side sleeping). I did wear a base layer at that temp but was just fine temp wise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slept 12 hours I took this out the disco for the first time last weekend. I am a side sleeper and I don't like being restricted so I typically have a hard time sleeping more than a couple hours at a time. Temps were dropping fast once the sun set, so I headed for the tent and sleeping bag early. In 25 degree weather I only woke up once all night! Wish the bag compressed a little smaller but the temperature and space inside were perfect for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful and full featured! Got this as a summer bag with a little more room to spread out. No longer focused on saving ounces, I thought I could spare a few grams to gain comfort. This bag is very roomy so I can always find a cool spot on hot nights. The pillow pocket is a dream - fits the Nemo pillow perfectly. No more will your pillow slide across your tent while you try to sleep. I was still a little warm sleeping in the 40's, but I'm sure the thermal hills helped a bit. Overall, this bad is a great summer winner!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Runs small I loved the idea of this bag having spoon fit and being able to sleep on my side, however, I like to sleep on my stomach/ back also. Fit was great while side sleeping, but was too short when laying on stomach/ back. I am 5' 10" and had a tough time in a Regular, I'd recommend getting a Long. No complaints other than the sizing. Bag kept me warm, pillow pocket was money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just received I like what I see so far. Crawled in it, layed on my side with knees bent. A success, very comfortable.

Differences between this and similar Nemo bags—the Nocturne 30 (which looks to be discontinued, but available in the Garage), and the Riff 30? The Disco is a Nocturne with added vent gills, and with higher-grade down (+2 oz.) than the Riff. Yes?

Asked by: Turtle Man
You are correct, the Disco is a Nocturne shell with gills for exterior access and venting. The Disco uses 650-fill Nikwax hydrophobic down insulation (800 fill in the Riff), which is also a difference that makes it 4 ounces heavier.

Will this bag zip together with the women's Rave 30?

Asked by: Pennsyhiker
Yes, my wife and I just tried it at REI.. and it seemed like it would actually work pretty well. There are, however, two separate foot boxes because the zipper only extends about 70-80% of the way down.

What is the difference between the Riff and The Disco? Riff uses 800 fill is only 1oz lighter. Why would one spend $100 more to get a bag that has the same size, weight, rating and features?
