Great fit
Just used this for 6 days at Lake Powell. I am not a very tan person and after 6 days I wasn't sunburned at all. This really does a excellent job and it fits well and looks great.
Sun block long-sleeve tee
I get an allergic reaction to the sun and continually have to lather myself with sun block when I'm on the beach. But that wasn't necessary with the Patagonia long-sleeve tee. It provides excellent protection from the sun and has a light and airy feel to it. I'm so happy I made the purchase.
Cool Shirt
Needed a shirt to protect my aging and skin cancer-prone self while working my small farm. Instantly noticeable was how cool I was able to stay. For this sweat hog that is a real plus. I’m tall and long armed, the XL is a good fit.
Safe Fun in the Sun
Love the fit on the shirt, and it worked really well at protecting me from the high sun. Feels more comfortable than other rash-guards I've bought. Not as restricting. Highly recommend.

Great shirt for the occasional pool/water-park outing. Helps with sun protection and very breathable. Highly recommended, getting myself and spouse one next time we stop by REI.
Pretty good quality l-sleeve shirt
It is a hair on the "heavy" side for a shirt to be worn in warm weather and/or water, but other than that, a great shirt and a good value as well via REI!
Great for Medical Condition
I have a condition which gets worse with sun exposure. I liked how these shirts performed so much that I bought the same one with a hood. Took these hiking through Yosemite and the Canadian Rockies in the middle of the blazing summer. It breaths so well and a side plus is protection from mosquitos! Especially if there's a breeze, its like it's blowing right on your bare skin. I definitely recommend!
Perfect for SUP
Spent 4 hours on the lake standup paddle boarding with this shirt, no worries. Dries quickly, didn't have to worry about reapplying sunscreen, just playing with the kiddos.
Favorite Hiking Tee
I use this shirt while hiking for the sun protection. It has lighter weight material than typical tech tees so comfortable while working hard. The SPF 50 fabric treatment is certainly more comfortable than slathering sunscreen on the arms.
