Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cook surface flaked off I used this pot on two trips. On the first one, we got our water from a stream, and it was fantastic. It even won over my husband, who at first who had been very skeptical of my purchase, especially of this big, Lee's-than-rigid thing sitting on top of our tiny Whisperlight stove -- it's fine, though, if you just keep it centered! But on the second trip, I had to melt snow for water and the pot couldn't handle the hot/cold together - the aluminium bottom warped and then whatever coating is on it started flaking off into my food and water. So if you don't anticipate ever having to melt snow for water, you should be fine. If you need a more versatile, durable pot, I don't recommend it. (I'm bummed that it didn't work out; I LOVE how compact it is.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent kayaking pot I do river kayaking in the Ozarks and like to camp on remote sand bars. Obviously, limited to what will fit in my kayak, this pot is critical to my relentless pursuit of the perfect set of gear. I like to cook relatively decent meals, jambalaya, chili, stew, etc. This pot is perfect for 2 - 4 person meal. Tucks easily in a ruck sack before/after use and takes about 30 seconds to clean. I've learned in the past that they REALLY mean no flames, though. The sides of these things will burn/melt easily (that's what you get when an 11 year old plays with your camp gear). Sigh.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for larger groups in the back country! I have had the X series bowls for several years and have enjoyed the unique way it folded down. A great bowl and doubles as a cutting board too. I first used the 4 L pot during my Back Country Cooking class this past month. It worked perfectly. Now I'm looking forward to using it in the back country this summer with trips planned in the Tetons, the Lake Superior Trail and the Ice Age Trail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for kayak trips I got this for a five-person 14 day sea kayak trip. It was perfect. It takes up very little space (in fact, it nestled nicely inside our frying pan) and worked on the Dragonfly stove without a hitch. The draining holes on the cover saved having to pack a strainer. Couldn't be happier!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from deceptively large capacity I used this to make some pasta fozool and it worked great. My old container was nearly boiling over cooking for three people- and this wasn't even half way full. Clean up was easy and there is no trace of smell.
