Does the product include the silver ring around black base? There is not one shown in the example photo.

The version with the silver ring (as one reviewer's picture shows) is the Camp Chef Deluxe Fire Ring. Not the fire pit for sale on this page.

Cool down time will vary based on the climate. We recommend putting the grill back in the bag when it is safe to touch.

Can I use a 1lb propane tank if I have a tank adapter?

Can you throw firewood on to of the lava rocks and then shut off the gas once the fire has started?

How long does a 20lb propane tank last with this fire pit?

​If turned on to the maximum flow of gas, such that the fire is burning at it's full capacity of 55,000 BTU's, then a 20 lbs. propane tank will last for about 7.8 hours.
