Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great insulated bottle! Bought this to replace my plastic water bottle for Jiu-Jitsu training. The old plastic bottle is already warm by the middle of training. This one is awesome! I have the tumblers and the lowball so I was already familiar with Yeti quality. The only improvement which I really hope they make, is to make an accessory for the top. Like a sports bottle type of top that you can switch to when needed. It would just make quick drinks faster and easier. I also picked up the straw top for my tumblers which are awesome too! Please think about making a sports type quick open top and this thing would exceed the 5 star ranking it has now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's big, and sealed 12 hours in and it looks like no ice has melted. Unlike other cups or bottles there's no need to fill it 3/4 of the way with ice. This will do just fine with ice filled only 1/4 of the way. The closed system is what really shines, there's no sipping port on the lid to let heat in. The "three finger grip" is a bit tight. Can't get past my second knuckle with three fingers. But I got big fingers. There's also a bunch of stuff in the can. Take it out before the first rinse. Sticker glue is also a bit of a pain to remove, because the best way to remove it is hot water, but the yeti retains heat well so it becomes difficult to hold. I've never put hot drinks in my yetis, so I can't speak to that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is exactly as advertised As with every Yeti product, the rambler line is everything they say it is. I work in a steel mill where Temps reach 117 degrees plus on a regular basis. The ice my wife fills my rambler with at 5 am is still in abundance when I get off at 6pm. I fill up with water 10 or more times a day. Co workers have purchased yeti like products to save money, but quickly realize that they should have listened to me and bought Yeti. No comparison. This is the ONLY brand of products I have found in my 43 years on earth that fully meets and exceeds their product claims and descriptions. Never compromise, go with Yeti.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superior Insulation As an advid water drinker i was looking for an upgrade from the run of the mill Gatorade or Nalgene bottles. Water wasn't meant to be drank from plastic. This purchase was my first Yeti product and 'The Rambler' exceeds expectations! I take it basically everywhere I go. Not to mention that the water stays cold for hours on end! You can fill this bad boy up right before you go to bed and it'll be ice cold when you take your first sip in the morning. Unreal! As far as durability, this Rambler is top notch and is as advertised, no sweating, no scratches on the stainless steel. Never going back to mundane water coolers/bottles! Thanks Yeti!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blew My Mind! I really didn't believe that a YETI bottle would hold ice better than a standard insulated bottle and for the price I WAS skeptical. Boy was I wrong. I bought this to fill with ice and water on fishing trips out on Lake Michigan. I was hoping it would keep my ice water for the entire day trip on the lake. It surpassed my expectations. I left this, full of ice and water, sitting in the baking sun, in mid July, and the ice barely diminished at all!! I tested it by leaving just the ice left from the day trip and it took an entire 48 hours before the ice melted. IT IS A PRODUCT THAT IS WORTH THE MONEY!!! Absolutely love it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed Feelings Got this about a month ago. Have been waiting for this since I hared they were coming out with a rambler bottle. This is a great product, however, it did not blow me away like other YETI products. First, I love the size and the three finger hold. I love the lid and how well it insulates, i love the size options. I was not impressed when I looked inside, there is a huge seam that goes down the middle of the inside, which to me seems like a massive area for heat or cold to escape or leak. After testing it out with ice water I was not as impressed as I have been with all my other YETI gear. Incredible product, but could use some more work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cold for days If you're re-filling this daily, you don't even need ice. I used ice on the first day and at 6 PM it was still "Hurt your teeth" cold. Overnight in the fridge is perfect and will be cold all day, even sitting in the car! It's absolutely worth every penny. For my application, on the job site, the bottle could have a little more grip to it; I haven't dropped it yet, but at the size this is I'd personally like it to be easier to drink with one hand while driving, grabbing a quick drink, etc. That's a VERY small gripe compared to how well this thing performs in every aspect that it needs to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love but . . . I bought my 36oz Rambler Bottle about 6 weeks ago. It has been pressed into service holding coffee brewed for guests that slept in, as well as for tea to take to choral rehearsals. Temperature of liquids has been wonderfully hot, no leaks (especially since it accidently tipped over in my chorus bag which was full of music) a wonderful attribute. I am NOT happy with the fact that the cover holds coffee aromatics, which has transferred to my tea. I did soak the cover in dish washing detergent and baking soda to see if I could get rid of the coffee, but once the heat hit the cover there was the coffee back again. I realize another cover labeled specifically for coffee (or tea) would work, but for something so 'over engineered' I expected not to deal with this problem (as I have with less expensive covers).

Will the mouth of this bottle fit the MSR Mini Works EX water pump? Looking to switch away from plastic bottles for camping, but need to pump water into something. Thanks!!

Asked by: 0otandAboot
While the MiniWorks will not screw directly onto the opening of the 36 ounce Rambler Vacuum Bottle, it would work in terms of pumping clean water directly into the bottle.

Can the 36oz and 64oz bottles be used as beer growlers?

Asked by: Beer is good
The manufacturer says you can store and transport carbonated beverages with this bottle but to be very careful when unscrewing the lid as there might be a lot of pressure within.
