Awesome...until they're not
I bought these about 3 weeks ago and they have been awesome from the start. So comfortable and warm! I have gotten ton of compliments on them as well. Unfortunately, today, with the first snow of the season in Seattle, my right foot started to feel wet. It happened a few days ago, but I thought it was just a cold foot. However, sure enough, when I took off my boot when I got home, wet sock, wet inside of boot. It's just the right foot though, so I'm thinking just the one might be defective, which is why these boots still got 4 stars. Going to bring them back to REI (Thank goodness for awesome return policies!) and try another pair out. Hopefully the next pair won't have the defect!

I had wanted rain boots but my ankles were too wide. So I tried these on. El nino was dropping its percipitation on Ventura Boulevard by the buckets. I work with dogs on the trails and need to have dry feet. I can tell you that I have used these boots through two storms and my tootsies are dry and warm. In addition, much to my surprise, when I showed up at a rehab center (for dogs) all the girls oohed at my boots and said that they looked great. They had not known that I had just bought them. I purchase items on sense and not fashion so this was an added bonus. I can't wait for it to rain again
Great Style and Very Comfortable
I love Keen shoes because they are flexible and lightweight. You won't get tired wearing these! I tried these on in the store and came home to see if they offered them in any other colors. As always, I walk around the store in them to make sure they didn't cut into my feet and they didn't. There's plenty of room to wear thick wool socks too for added warmth. For reference: I wear a size 6 in all my shoes. These were true to size.
Love the funky look
I tried these on twice before deciding to buy. My foot floated a bit inside but in the end loved the look and thought perfect for urban winter walking. Loved the height. Great tread. Perfect for wearing with rolled up jeans or leggings, etc. Comfortable for driving. No bulk but in the end they aren't very warm. Or warm enough. Rated to -4F but cold at 25. Disappointed as I wanted something warm enough for walking to work and hanging out in all day. If the temperature isn't a concern they're perfect.
Amazing Boots!
I bought these boots because I thought they were cute and wanted them mostly for rainy and cold weather (I live in Seattle). They were good boots in Seattle but they saved me on my work trip to Vermont. There was almost two feet of snow and it was 15 degrees out. I had to walk a little ways to get food and these boots kept me not only warm but also dry. I am a 5.5 but REI doesn't carry that size so I had to get a 6 and they work great.
Lightweight and room for thick socks.
I love these boots! I've taken to wearing them outside of snowy conditions, whether it's rain or the February desert on a recent camping road trip. The footbed is wide and comfortable, though not a lot of arch support so walking long distances can be uncomfortable. Not great in deep snow since they're not tall, and to wear them snowshoeing I need gators. But they're really light for a snow boot, so it's a good trade off for me (I hate clunky heavy boots). Would definitely recommend!
Super Rain and Snow Boots
Very comfortable and good fit! I wear a size 10. I purchased for rain and snow shoes! i have a bad foot but provide support and comfort. I would buy another pair!
Great city boots but not for winter sports
These boots are adorable and great for apres ski, cold-weather city wear, etc. BUT they have shearling around the ankles but not around the toes and therefore have their limits. I ended up returning them for a pair of boots that were insulated and I could use for winter sports.
NOT Waterproof
The style of these boots was very cute, and they were very comfortable. They were a little clunky, but still better than most rain boots. However, they are not AT ALL waterproof. I wore them for 30 minutes in a downpour at a cross country meet. The lace holes leaked water and the fabric parts completely soaked through. By the end of the meet, I was walking in a puddle of water. Water was sloshing inside the boot. These are very cute, but completely impractical. I will be returning.
Love love LOVE!
Not only are they comfortable, and warm but they're super cute! True to size!
