Perfect for Winter
This is identical to the regular version, just with a fleecy lining around the collar and zipper, along with soft quilting inside. I've been down into the mid-30s with misty wind and have not felt the cold at all. Just a brilliant jacket. Very comfortable, durable, and doesn't let the cold in. The hand pockets are on the smaller size, but I have large hands and they fit fine. The inside chest pocket fits a large phone, but my Samsung S21 Ultra doesn't let the zipper shut. No big deal but someone may wonder. I am usually in between a Large and XL and I ended up getting a Large. I'm 5'10, 195 and it fits really nice. I've also tried it on with a fleece pullover under and it still fits really well. Overall, this is a great jacket and almost certainly what you're looking for if you're reading this. It also looks fantastic in Expresso.
warm, tough, great looking, versatile...all good
I truly love this jacket. Yes, enough to marry it; I've done worse. It's warmer than you think, tougher/more durable than it deserves to be, it looks fantastic, really high quality fasteners, great stitching...I mean honestly it's possibly my favorite coat I've ever owned. I may buy the one that's more insulated just for colder weather. This one is super versatile though...you can get by just around town when it's quite cold if you zip it up all the way, and for warmer temps, 40's, whatever...just unzip and it won't sweat you out. It's terrific.
My favourite jacket
It’s been a long time since I found a jacket that I feel confident in. The constructed quality of this jacket is impressive. It is easy to move around in, especially when walking two rambunctious dogs. Fits well in the shoulders and the arms are curved giving me a great range of motion when needed. Layered it works well in the cold, down to the 30’s. It is more comfortable in the 40’s through the 70’s in the Florida winter when it is not humid. I highly recommend it. This is the type of jacket to be worn over a lifetime.
This is a great jacket!
I now have three Kuhl jackets. Weird for a guy living in Florida, but I travel a lot to colder locations. I decided to get something a little fancier and this jacket does not disappoint! Fits great and is just right for travel to cooler climates where you want something a little more professional. I will say they should rename the Gun Metal. There's nothing "gun metal" about it. It's green like the image, so it works well with my brown boots.
Great canvas softshell-cut jacket.
The lined version works well down into the 20s, much warmer than I anticipated. I have the Kuhl waxed trucker jacket, so know what to expect with Kuhl's fit and sizing. It has more of a technical fit, but plenty of room to layer a 80g primaloft packaway jacket or heavyweight hoodie underneath for colder temps. That setup worked well in a recent cold snap below 0ºF. The fleece on my neck adds a comfortable touch. I’m 6'0", 215 lbs, 45 Reg chest, 36 in waist and the XL fits perfect. I agree with the complaints about the hand warmer pockets, I can barely fit my whole hand inside them. The pockets hold my car keys or my iPhone SE perfectly, but nothing larger. After washing the jacket a few times I waxed the canvas for additional weatherproofing. Next to the Kuhl waxed trucker its my favorite jacket. Looking forward to seeing how it breaks in and wears over time.
super well built, looks great, fits perfect, warm
I really couldn't love this jacket more. Really had been looking for and not ever seeing anything I liked for a long time. I came across the totally insulated/warm version of this in a shop not long ago and loved that, too, but really wanted something a little lighter and was super happy to see they had this version online. Because the material is tight/wind resistant, it’s still really quite warm with the light lining it does have. The zippers and snaps are metal, sturdy, and the stitching is impeccable. Oh, and the color is great, versatile, still kinda subtle. I’m like a 40 reg let’s say, maybe lean a little bigger, just depends, and the medium fits me perfectly (actually I first ordered a small cause I hate jackets that are too baggy, and I returned it for a medium). Buy with confidence, terrific jacket. I may still buy the really warm one just out of sheer love.
Great jacket.
Great jacket, good look. I've already gotten multiple compliments. Lined jacket is warm for cold nights in Southern California, and with layers can likely be warm enough for really cold places. I'm between an L and XL and got an XL. I tried an L and while the arms were long enough the shoulders were too tight. I'm 6"2 and about 215lbs.
Incredible Jacket
This jacket has become my absolute favorite, which is impressive given the number I own. For those particularly frigid days, pairing it with my Joyrydr underneath creates an ideal blend of comfort and warmth. I highly recommend it, as it not only keeps you cozy but also makes you look incredibly cool.
Great Jacket did not git
I ordered the Burr lined jacket in an XL for my son. It was too small. Rather than sending it back, I gave it to another son & reordered it in an XXL..This size was proportioned wrong for him so I am sending it back. It is a great jacket but did not work for son #1. Thanks Kathy Jordan

Just warm enough
I live in Florida and was concerned the lined jacket would be too warm. It turns out that the jacket works well for me for temps between 45-65. It works for colder if you layer. Excellent fit and finish and the materials feel nice.
