Best jacket I could find for its purpose

The Kuhl Stretch Voyagr Insulated jacket is the best option I could find for its intended purpose, which is wind and rain protection in chilly but not cold weather, without the squeaky noise associated with gore-tex mountain shells. In other words, it's perfect for day to day life in the city or suburbs, great for walks but not for hiking or backpacking. The exterior and interior fabrics are soft and comfortable. The pockets are roomy and well placed and the two way zipper is perfect for getting in and out of a car (sitting and standing). I consider it an essential piece of gear.

Super comfortable coat without being “HEAVY” but still keeps the wind out and keeps you warm. Great for everything from hiking with the dogs to going out to dinner. Another great Kuhl product.
