Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm and comfortable I purchased these bottoms a year ago for the relatively mild Southeast winters, as I spent a lot of time outside climbing on freezing days. They kept me warm and were easy to move around in underneath a pair of leggings, although they aren't terribly stretchy (or as form-fitting as leggings) and it took some finagling to get the leggings on comfortably. I found them especially useful for sleeping in on cold nights, both camping and at home. I initially purchased a S but found they were a little too big (like I said, they aren't too stretchy and they also get baggy after wearing them for so long) so I exchanged them for an XS and they fit great. I'm 5'8", 120 lbs, and I usually wear size 4. (although I recently bought the capilene 3 shirt in XS and I will have to exchange for a S).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kept Warm in Europe over the Winter I bought these specifically to wear under my jeans while I was in Europe during the winter. They fit great under all of my skinny jeans and kept me quite warm! They kept there shape well and remained snug despite being worn basically every day of a two week trip! They also dry very quickly which is a plus when backpacking! Overall very please with this product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great for skiing I am pleased that these long underwear bottoms have a sufficiently high waist to keep my warm while skiing - they do not drop down while moving.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light & Toasty Very comfortable. Used recently while on a stretch of AT near Catwba, Va. Kept my legs warm while hiking in sleet and windy conditions. Also, a great buy in comparison to similar products. Looking forward to wearing them in my bag. I am sure they will help keep me warm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely bottoms What I really like about this product is the waist. I like the wide waist band. It does have some silicone-like material in the waist band, but it's not as wide as the waist band you see - it's just a portion of it. I wish these all came in petite sizes as they bunch up at the bottom for me, and if I am wanting wear under pants, I want to feel not so "squished". I purchased a S and M and I think I probably could get the next to skin and fitted fit if I went with XS. The material is soft and a perfect Midweight layer. It is a bit thin, which is nice. I bet it offers great warmth (it's still hot desert time here). I have returned and may go with last seasons style (price wise) or I will go back and purchase the XS. Highly recommend. Give these a go! Quality product. (only rated a 4 because of the inseam issue)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from These have issues Recently purchased and used for the first time last week. While they are comfortable and kept me warm, this pants have some problems. First, after 1 night of use a hole is already starting to form on the bottom. Next, odor retention is a problem after just two nights. For $55 I was expecting something more durable, and these are already starting to fall apart after wearing them just for sleeping for two night, not even wearing during the day. I am currently inquiring about returning this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for many purposes LOVE these long johns. I live in Alaska where we have had a cold winter requiring long underwear almost every day. These are thin and light weight enough to go under jeans for walking in town, but warm enough -- and breathable -- under my wool pants for skiing. I love the way the waist fits, the wide band (with narrower elastic) is very comfortable. The heavier weight ones are made in a similar style and also super comfortable.
