Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Polo! This is a great polo. Actually been looking for regular day-to-day polos for a while. As a slender person, Brooks Brothers polos fit me like a garbage bag. Ralph Lauren polos aren't much better, and even the slim RL polos fit a little weird. I should have been looking at REI this whole time! Saw these on the site and got a couple pairs. Here's the deal: For casual wear, they are amazing. Actual athletic slim fitting, I got lots of compliments. When hiking they're breathable and the stitching means that there isn't a seam between my backpack strap and my shoulder. Very well thought out. For casual work environment, be careful. I still wear these, but the material is reasonably thin for a polo (comparing to things like the Ralph Lauren polo type things). It feels of a similar thickness and falls on your body like a regular tee shirt. Because of the wicking and thinness, if I sweat even a drop, it's immediately apparent to everyone. When in a super humid/hot environment, I sweat slightly even walking across the street for coffee, like everyone. By the time I get back to the office, there are darker sweat marks all over the front and back of the shirt! Basically 100% perfect for being comfortable, lasting a long time, fitting better than any polo ever on an athletic body (like most arcteryx products), travel, hiking, looking good, etc. Not necessarily ideal for the office depending on your location and other considerations. For a good alternative polo with a similar fit but that is a little thicker (thus not quite as breathable), try the Patagonia stretch polo. I own multiple pairs of both but prefer the arcteryx polo to the patagonia, but only by a small margin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit for big boys who like small shirts I have three of these guys. I use my older ones for everything from hiking to rock climbing to the bar and my newer one for the ladies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile shirt I'm very happy with this shirt, as with all Arc'teyx products I have. It's very versatile, I'm styling when hiking and traveling with this shirt, and works as a casual shirt at the office. I got the small, I'm 5'4" 140 lbs. it fits very well. The hem kind of too long if untucked. But I think, this is designed more tucked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive...almost weight and heat free! I bought this, and another Arc'Teryx specifically for my multi-week "business casual" trip to Tampa. It is incredibly lightweight, and has not caused trapped heat while walking to various locations in 80-90 degree weather. Further, I wear Arc'teryx athletic gear for my marathon training (no, I am not some paid endorser), and I remain impressed by the quality and fit of the product. I carry a lean frame, and it is nice to find medium polo shirts that have an athletic cut, versus the more typical "generous middle" of other manufacturers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shirt for traveling and everyday use This is my favorite shirt...maybe ever. It's comfortable and I like to pack this shirt when I travel as it's great for everyday use and also stylish enough to wear out at a decent restaurant or a night out. Thus, cuts down on pack weight as I don't have to pack 2 different kinds of shirts. I have a lot of merino light wool t-shirts and they can't take the normal wear and tear...Will probably buy at least 2 more of these...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Athletic fit Nice slim fit even if not in the description. A bit pricey for a polo but there are few off the rack brands for slim guys (6'2" 190).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality casual shirt I bought the shirt because I had a weekend business meeting and I didn't want to dress formally, and didn't want to wear my usual REI weekend wear. The Arc'teryx polo was a perfect choice. The price for all Arc'teryx clothing is always too high but I guess I'm paying for quality. I think of it as Lululemon for men... :))

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality polo shirt Typical Arcteryx high quality, nice trim cut. At 6'1", 185lbs w/ a narrow torso, the size Large fits almost perfectly. Length is marginally too long to wear untucked, but it's worth it because most polo shirts are too short in a Medium and too wide in the body in a Large.

I hover between an Large and XL depending on the cut and fit of a shirt, and have an athletic build.  How do these shirts run?

Asked by: Naigaga
They run small. I'm 205 lbs, 44 chest and usually wear large or xl. Tried it on in the store and bought a xxl. Love it.

How do you wash this shirt? Could not find any instructions.

Machine wash in warm water. Wash dark colors separately. Tumble dry on low heat. Iron on low heat.
