Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good computer The computer is a little on the small side. Good thing I wear my bifocals when I ride. I like the wireless install. I like the cadence capability. I wish it came without heart monitor and price reflected this. The buttons are a little strange. But they work. The instruction manual is horrible. I am not fluent in iconese. I wish the manual was in book form and was seperated by languages. This way I can refer to it when riding. Cateye has been around for more than 30 years. Quality is good. Fit and finish is good. Wireless pick up is funky. But it works. Not sure how long the crank magnet will stay on. The stickum was nullified by a layer of grease that I did not know was there, so the only thing holding the magnet on is a zip tie.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Function 5 start, set up 1 star This is not my first Cateye bike computer, and as is typical of the product the written instructions aren't very clear, especially if you want to make one modification in the settings. You really can't change one setting without starting at the beginning and going through all of the steps. One would hope Cateye would make the effort to re-write their software. The online instructions are better, but several of the videos wouldn't play on two different browsers. Once the computer is easily installed on the bike it is fairly easy to read, cycles through the readings well, and is not overly sensitive to slight movement of the sensors. The heart rate monitor is an optional add on which I didn't purchase. I looked at other brands but this was on sale at a good price point, but I don't look forward to January 1 when I reset the odometer and have to recycle through all of the settings again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cadence a Must for Me This is my second Strada wireless Cadence. The first one stopped functioning after 5 years. It is unfortunate that the price goes up so much to get cadence. If I could get along without cadence reading, I would have bought the Padrone model which has a much larger screen and is a much better value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Great 4 star for the price should light up. If your buying one of these with heart rate and cadence you might not today but tomorrow you will want one that lights up for the duration of your trip in the dark. I didn't think I needed one that lights up, wish I had gotten one with a light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what I need it to do and do it well I'm new to cycling and bought a pretty bike. I wanted something sleek like my bike along with essential readouts needed for training. This fit the bill. I'm happy with it. I've accepted that set up is a bit of a pain but you only have to do it once.

Does this include the heart rate monitor, or if not does REI sell the accessory needed to use the HRM feature?
