Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good fit, bad battery, too expensive I spend between 4-6 hrs/night outside deep in the mountains. Having a good light is vital. I've used every brand out there and chose Petzl years ago. I've been using the Tikka RXP and like it. The Nao is horrible with the wires and getting the fit right. I thought the Ultra Rush would be great (as it should be for $500). I am not as impressed as I hoped mainly due to the battery. I've used it multiple times on high and it lasts only between 2-3 hrs (they say at least 4 hrs). And I get maybe 5 minutes warning before it dies completely (they say over an hr). I'm sorry but 2-3 hrs is not enough, especially for a $500 lamp. Yes, I've tried it on lower settings and still don't get near the run times they say. I will say that getting it to fit is easy and far superior to the Nao. If it were cheaper and the battery better, I'd absolutely recommend it but now, only get it if it's on a serious sale.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great light. I have had my light for 5 years and is working very good and is very reliable, well built. Has helped me get projects done at night that would not be possible with a ordinary light.Wish it came with a better system to mount the battery on.I have been using a camelback type carrier to put the battery in.
