I love this chair and was very happy to receive it! Designed for longevity, sturdiness, and comfort. NOT flimsily engineered. Pros: -high back and extremely comfortable - I am short though -easy to open up and folds quickly -sturdy wooden arm rests and drink holder -easy to transport and you could carry it a short distance -love the color - appears that it would hold a stout individual Cons: (none really) -a little heavy and definitely not a backpacking chair -a bit tall when folded up
Well-built camp chair, lovely sage green color, easy to open and close, convenient carry strap and very sturdy. Definitely on the heavy side but well-balanced when carrying it. Its a pretty wide chair and has a convenient cup holder that stores under the seat of the chair if needed.
So far, so good. We have been able to use the chairs several times for some backyard grilling and chilling and they are pretty comfortable. I have a wide, heavy posterior and these are large enough and don't have metal bars in high pressure areas to be nice to sit in for a couple hours (a far cry from some $15 generic camp chairs we had been using). They are definitely big and heavy compared to more minimal options, so more for car camping/glamping/backyard use. I do wish I could have gotten a slightly darker, more natural color, but maybe this light blue was the only one on sale. A few extra inches up top or some sort of reinforcement band would have been super nice for head support, but they are comfortable if I slouch a little bit (or if you are shorter like my wife).
Overall, a solid and comfortable chair. Extra wide so it doesn't feel like sitting in a airplane seat. Wood arms are nice (but it would be nicer if they were twice as wide-easy for arms to slip off). Cup holder is plenty wide and would fit nearly any vessel. Issue with the cup holder swivel mechanism is that it tends to swivel in by itself...so if you had a can in there it might just disappear under the seat. Folding is standard for a chair like this, a little awkward and feels like you are putting too much force on it...and then it suddenly folds. I found it easiest to fold with the chair upside down. Strap and clip mechanism to hold the chair in it's folded position and make it readily able to be shouldered is nice.
I really like this chair! I have two young kids in sports and it’s very comfortable! I took off one star because the carry strap could use a cushion for your shoulder and my 36oz yeti does not fit. I regular water bottle and smaller slimmer yetis fit. Other than that, I have no complaints!
This chair is probably the most sturdy camp chair I’ve owned. I like that is doesn’t have a carry bag but instead has a strap and clip system so you can sling it over your shoulder. That being said, it’s a pretty heavy and kinda awkward chair to carry. It’ll be great at home around the fire or even for car camping. But I wouldn’t want to have to lug this along the beach or very far from the car. It’s also pretty big and not very compact.
It's a nice sturdy chair, but the weight on technical specs are wrong. The chair is 13lbs, not 7lbs as listed
We bought 2 chairs for an outdoor city concert. Very comfortable chair and sturdy. I like how the cup holder can be moved, out of sight when not in use. The frame is very sturdy, but I’m not sure how durable the fabric is. Seems OK. We will be using them for fishing along the rivers and lakes. The only downside is that the chairs aren’t light.
Great chair. Supportive (at least for the 5 minutes I sat in it), but it is pretty big! I am 5’9”, 160/spouse is 5’7”, 125, and these were oversized for us. I haven’t weighed them but they are pretty heavy, and though they fold up nicely they are bulky. I would not want to carry them into a camp site. Car camping or sitting around outside of a camper these would be great.
This camp chair is a good height for fireside lounging, and very comfy, with no contact between legs and chair frame. Wide but strong, easily holds 300+ pounds. The fold out cup holder is well-designed and out of the way. Have been using this chair daily for the past several months in front of my home wood stove and often doze off in it. Glad I bought this and expect to continue to use it daily for years!
